I would. I watched it last year. I am just sick and tired of the commentary being all about Boston, and no one else gets any credit, they’re just a stumbling block for the Sox.

but they had a 7-0 lead with two outs in the 7th inning in a clinching game. and its almost unheard of for the team with homefield advantage to blow a 3-1 lead. i agree the yankees a couple years ago is worse, but this is extremely bad.

They converted a ton of stuff down there to lofts, most of the old clubs are closed now. Cops all over the place; cars, bikes, foot patrol. I hadn’t been there in years, but went last weekend and had a blast. Damn, I hadn’t been out in forever.

He’ll be fine. I have an old co-worker who roomed with Kinsler at college (when Kinsler went to community college). He said he works incredibly hard. I think Kinsler might come back down to earth but he’ll keep his quick bat and good approach.

This just in:
If you collect hydrogen from the reaction between zinc and hydrogen chloride, and put that with oxygen collected from the reaction between manganese and hydrogen peroxide, and then blow it at an open flame, it makes this wicked cool explosion noise.
I could have done the same thing by popping a balloon, though.

I've got the TV on in the other room, and doing the chem lab in my office...
And every time the cheering gets loud, I run in to see what happened, and it’s always just the end of the top of an inning.
Those fans need to stop being so dang excited about defense when that’s all I can go by right now.

you would think they would ahve a better system than the 1985 style black screen with scrolling areas where they are active and a voice reading the info
just put all the info on the screen + read it + make it readable
its easy and you GET THE INFO OUT THERE much cleaner and ppl are more likely to actually pay attention

But they were MUCH worse during that entire run than the Rangers have ever been.
I still remember a time when Rangers fans were much more fortunate than Bucs fans.

Their managment and ownership figured out how to correctly build a team, and I think you’ve got to give them credit for that. The fact that they’ve done it and the Rangers haven’t is slightly depressing, but… at least we know what the Rangers need to do now.

. . . we had an MLB predictions thread. The single biggest argument in that thread was when a friend was personally insulting me for picking the Rays to have a good season.
And he bitched out on PECOTA for picking them to win 90 games and to be better than the Blue Jays, saying they didn’t have enough “experience winning” to be good yet.

I rooted for the Rays
I didn’t like it when the Arizona Diamondbacks won the World Series after being in existence only 4 years. But they beat the Yankees and Mariano Rivera at home in Game 7.
This team has to compete against Boston and New York’s bazillion dollar payrolls every year. Good for them, I hope it’s a good Series.

The best parts about this win
- Boston has to suck it

- All of baseballs old farts like Joe Morgan and Tim McCarver who preach about “experience” over youth and talent have to suck it.

I'm more pumped than I've been about pro sports in a while.
This doesn’t touch the Cougars basketball runs the last couple years, but I’m a minor Lakers fan and this tops even that.
I’m from Tampa, I’ve always had a soft spot for the Rays (not their park), the front office is genius, and they’re just a fun team stacked with talent.
That said. . . they’re not my team. My head is floating away now, and it makes me wonder just how well I’ll handle it if the Rangers ever get this far.
I can’t even imagine what seeing my team in the World Series will do to me.
