PrintI didn't post about this yesterday, but the Mariners hired a new general manager.
Because it isn't John Hart or Kim Ng, I don't really have a lot to say about it.
However, if you are interested, Jeff over at Lookout Landing has a good write up on his thoughts, and U.S.S. Mariner has several posts on the topic, as well.

She's a female...
…which would make her hiring interesting.
She seems to be almost universally well-regarded within the game, while keeping a very low profile with the media.
