Taking Madson out for the lefty
I think Charlie Manuel is overthinking this – despite that homer by Baldelli, Madson is still one of his best relievers and Iwamura has been terrible going all the way back to the ALCS. I would have let Madson try and get out of the inning.

If the ratings continue to decline like they have the last few years
the World Series may be on cable only in five years. Of course, when you have games that are over after midnight on the East Coast, ratings are going to take a tumble.

Welp, congrats to the Phillies
Even with this little joke of a three-inning sprint to end things, they deserve it more than the Rays. I wanted to see the Rays win, but they killed themselves with errors and bad moves like Bartlett trying to come home on that grounder to Utley, or Price not coming in until the Phils where already ahead.
Chase Utley, by the way should be MVP.

There’s a lot of Rays bandwagon fans right now, but there also has to be a core (albeit a very small one) who have been faithful to the Rays. And those are the one’s I’m happy for.
