looking forward/ahead to next week and the red river shootout
looks to be one of the better games of the last few years with probably as much on the line as there has been since 05 when VY and co were still at Texas

sneed is a guy who was known to change his mind, originally committed to florida, but then changed his mind when tebow committed to fla.
then went to texas, and didnt beat out colt mccoy, and when it became apparant that he was going to be the backup decided to transfer, and it was announced on 1 dec (before the texas bowl game)
and now hes at ole miss…

he’s not the first highly recruited player to transfer early and he wont be the last.
I can’t say that I blame someone like him either, highly recruited goes to texas and ends up a backup? Something like that could prevent a player from a possible nfl career.

he is in way over his head. The only reason he won at SC is because they had the best talent. You are not gonna get the best talent at UNT…. I know the talent isn’t great, but it isn’t winless bad either. Like I said hopefully they’ll win today. FIU may be the only other team that sucks harder than them.

read somewhere that he evidently is a good NFL qb prospect and that he went to ole miss cuz it gave him the best chance to make it to the NFL (vs rice? i think was the other final top cohice i want to say?)

last weeks texas game wasn’t in hd either. during the pre game they showed footage of colt warming up and it was HD then they go to broadcast the game and its not

Aggies downward spiral
I’ve seen a lot of 52-17 predictions for an Aggie loss this weekend…now I know the Pokes can put a lot of points on the board, the Aggies can’t defend, and all of their quarterbacks that haven’t been fully converted to WR are injured…but we’ve beaten them 2 years in a row (granted by 1 point each time).
Is there ANY CHANCE at all they make it close, or is 52-17 the final verdict?

But I’m watching the ASU/Cal game (I went to ASU), and there are bad calls all over the field. Pac 10 refs are just awful. They’re screwing both sides, not just ASU though so at least they’re “fair.” But, damn, they’re bad.

When I was at ASU, I was an equipment manager for the team. Every week it was unreal the calls we’d see.

It was pretty bad
Colorado seems to be moving the ball well but the Horns D in the red zone keeps stuffing them and they have missed 2 FG’s
