Friday Afternoon Video recommendations and ideas
I'm still out of town. I Should be back home Thursday(I know some have missed me). Thank goodness... been gone for nearly a month.
I got to thinking, why not have us give some ideas for the LSB Friday afternoon video selection. Sort of a get an idea on what everybody wants to see. Of course it's all up to what Adam wants to do. But, we as a community have a voice too :). So I think we all are wondering what everybody likes? Whether it's comedy, music, etc., and links are encouraged.
So to start it off. I'd like to see some Billy Joel for a Friday afternoon video (don't have time to lookup a link to a youtube video link right now). I was driving my rental car this afternoon and 'Sometimes a Fantasy' came on and I just cranked it up. For some reason I thought of LSB's Friday afternoon video. I must be weird or something but I seriously thought this. So I thought I needed to post this.
Anyway, I'm going with three songs off Billy Joel's Glass Houses I'd like to see as a Friday Afternoon Video. 1. Sometimes a Fantasy.
2. It's Still Rock & Roll to Me
3. You May Be Right
Oh and any comedy video with the Blue Collar Comedy guys... Jeff Foxworthy, Larry the Cable Guy, Bill Engvall, and Ron White.
Oh, almost forgot, I need to listen to the new Ranger Podcast in Arlington latest podcast. I will do that right now and then go to bed. I'm so really tired. And thank goodness I've not been on LSB lately and had to experience those expanding and intrusive ads on a appreantly regular basis that seems to be forced upon the LSB community cause one just popped up on me and tricked me into accidentally clicking the link. I'm going to bed.

what about a clip from Dr Strangelove
either the one about the “mine” gap at the end of the movie or the immortal ridding the bomb…

Crazy on You
by Heart, from their debut album Dreamboat Annie
I looked it up on wiki. And the album was first released in Canada by the small Mushroom Records label. After it became a Canadian hit. Mushroom formed a U.S. division and released Dreamboat Annie in the Seattle area, where Heart’s members had lived and played before relocating to Canada in the early 1970s. You said your boss is from Seattle so I thought this would be crazy on you.
And according to sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson. Ann Wilson who was the lead & background vocals, flute, and acoustic guitar. Said the lyrics were written under the influence of shrooms.
