I was literally in the process of writing a FanShot about this.

This truly is a tragedy. Rest in peace to one of the best sports/humor blogs in the Tubes.

Is this sorta like

The death of a saint? Will miss FJM, often the biggest and sometimes the only big smile of the day.

It’s freaking thursday.

I'm undefeated in fights. Have I been in any? No. Thats because people know my f'ing status. Don't mess with the elite. - Miles

Hmn

I thought that was only during the holidays.

I’m not much of a football afficianado, can ya tell?

and i love how belichick coaches

you see that last drive how fast they went down the field and got to a point and spiked the ball. That was so freaking beautifully done.

Following it on Gamecast (no NFLN)

Was that NYJ OT drive as easy as it looked on the computer?

yeah, the 3rd and 15

should have been stopped…blown coverage by NE. Other than that first series of downs…way too easy.

I am truly bummed

FJM is/was one of those few sites that made me crack up out loud. Tip of the cap to those guys, they are brilliant

Is this schtick?

Are you trying to get troll votes? Or do you just not have the mental fortitude to stay on topic?

votes?

are you that lonely and pathetic?

Bummer

FJM was one of my favs. However, you could tell over the postseason they were busy as hell. That’s normally the time they have countless material.

I remember discovering that site about 3 years ago, laughing hysterically in my cubical and fighting off glares from coworkers. It’s a damn shame, they will be missed.

I remember two summers ago when I was working in a newspaper office.

I would steal a moment a day at one of the computers to check FJM for updates, and whenever there was one it resulted in my riotous laughter and being forced to try and explain myself to everyone around (with little success).

Tis a true shame...

Loved that site. You could tell though they were slowly starting to not post as much. I wonder if part of the appeal of the site for them was lost when they revealed their actual identities. I think that was a big part of the mystique of the site was that it wasn’t known who it was.

One of my friends

mentioned today that FJM hadn’t been updated since October. This sucks.

You know the feeling you get when one of your favorite actors, musicians, or authors dies? This kinda feels like that.

I think I heard somewhere

That Michael Schur (KT) was going to be the head honcho for the Office spinoff. If so, that’s probably one of the major reasons nothing’s been going off; let’s face it, he’s the best of the three.

I read that too

He and Greg Daniels are in charge of it.

Sniff..

I’m very sad. I hope my mother sends some cookies down here to the basement to cheer me up.

I’m definitely going to get myself some FJM haberdashery.

My blog (not me, other writer) mourns.

Really depressing. We started up just to entertain ourselves because we liked FJM but other sports other than FJM and just wanted to make ourselves feel somehow clever, even though we’re not.

Sad times.
