New Site/Michael Main interview
From Joey Matschulat:
The new website is now available for your perusal at www.bbtia.com, and while it still very much remains a work in progress, the backbone of BBTiA's new home is essentially in place.
You'll find the same entertaining, thought-provoking content you've come to expect at the independent iteration of BBTiA, plus an additional familiar face. John Vittas has now come full circle and will be rejoining the website he helped build once upon a time as we attempt to establish our own formidable version of the Three J's -- an alphabetically similiar repository of talent that can hopefully rival or surpass that of the late-90s Dallas Mavericks trio of the same name.
Q: When did you realize that playing baseball for a living could be a reality?
Main: Probably coming into high school. It’s the only thing I’ve really ever wanted to do. When people would ask me that question, I would always tell them that I wanted to be a baseball player. Coming into high school I thought I could really make a run at this thing. I started developing and becoming a pretty good player. That is when everything started to click and I thought I could really do this.
As usual, your comments are appreciated.

First impression on the new website:
The new design us the shit. I have no idea how webpages are really built, but BBTiA.com looks pretty danged nice.
And of course, that was an awesome interview as well Jason – if I wasn’t impressed with Michael Main before, I sure am now.

Main and Holland
I am not sure if I have ever felt so confident about the future success of pitchers in our system. You could take them out and still feel very good about the pitching coming up through the org, but they both just seem to offer the complete package.
Granted, I started really following our farm system only about 10 years ago, so they don’t have much competition, but still…

Maybe its just these interviews
but I have a strange confidence in some of these prospects that I don’t think I’ve had with any other Ranger pitching prospect.
By 2028, Mark Teixeira will be in the HOF.

They
just seem to refuse to fail. The great thing is that each of our big time pitching prospects (Main, Holland, Feliz, Perez, and Beavan) have this insatiable desire to do well. The rangers are really brewing something very special here.

Feliz/Holland/Main
What a potential rotation to think about in 2-3 years.

OMG, OC is gonna nut.
Q: What Major League pitcher makes you sit up and take notice?
Main: I don’t know if there’s one exact guy. I mean, you see electric guys all the time. Somebody like Zach Greinke is a guy I’d like to pitch like.
Nice stuff, Jason.

thanks!
Scout: He was a first-round pick right? Got a huge bonus?
KG: Oh yeah.
Scout: Well, he spent a lot of it on milkshakes.

Might be the only saving grace about that blog, which otherwise sucks (largely thanks to Tim MacMahon and the morons who comment there).

The MVN... Baseball Time in Arlington
will be missed. As a Texas Rangers fan and avid reader of the old Baseball Time in Arlington. I’m excited about the new site.
With Joey Matschulat, Jason Parks, and the great idea that John Vittas had of course that stemmed from and got cranked up with an idea from the Newberg Report forums. I’m looking forward to the new website www.bbtia.com.
I’ll check in on a regular basis (like I have for nearly two years (under my other mysterious name :) that I don’t give out to nobody:)) Doubt you could figure out. Jason might could. when you started this) and I fully support this new site. Cause I love you guys and all you have done for keeping me up to date on everything Texas Rangers Baseball.
Now don’t get to excited cause LSB does take up most of my time when it comes to Texas Rangers. I only get so much time to read and post online when i’m home and have down time for sports related Rangers. I travel so much and stay probably more busy out of town from my job than most people you’ll ever know. But, I’m devoted and know what I like and who I like. I have always enjoyed what you 3 started out. It’s encouraging and exciting about the new site. I’m looking forward to the new site y’all will be getting cranked up.

wait...
Did the title of the site really come from the Newberg forums? I honestly can’t remember, I’ve drank way too much since then.
At any rate, I’m happy to be aboard with these guys and look foward to talking plenty of sports.

nothing much….although I did get engaged over the summer.
