OT: Plaxico Burress accidently shot himself in the leg
This is too bizzare not to post...
"Plaxico Burress' controversial year has just taken a turn for the worse.
The New York Giants wide receiver accidentally shot himself in the leg on Friday night, FOXSports.com has learned, not long after being ruled out of Sunday's game against the Redskins with a hamstring injury.
This has been a troubled year for Burress, who opened the season with a lengthy contract dispute. He was also suspended one game in October for violating team rules, benched during another game and hit with a series of fines."

bad people
because you know plaxico burress that well right? That’s ridiculous that you would classify him as a “bad person” from what you know about him from his contract disputes. I’m the biggest cowboys fan you’ll ever meet, and I’m not willing to classify players on rival teams as “bad people.” Bad things happen to good people, too.
baseBALLIN!
He has a history
Maybe not like Pac man or Ray Lewis or others. You don’t have to know someone on a personal to know some are bad you can see their actions and what they do. How about Marbury do you think he is a bad person? If so do you know him or hang out with him?

Good grief.

it was a brief encounter with him and other giants players at an Espy pre party. There was no getting high together.
exploding highfive
that's a shame
because I hear his stuff is the bomb

if he had to...
spend the nite int he hospital then it has to be a significant wound, and if he was sitting out because of a bad hamstring, not being able to work out that hamstring, along with the new wound might put him out for a week or two… i’d prefer the giants playing full speed ahead to put some more space between the cowboys and everyone else in the wild card race… i know, i know… i hate rooting for them too, but at least they can hand some L’s to carolina and washington, both teams figihting with the cowboys for a wildcard spot… i’m fine conceding the East if we can roll into the playoffs with a head of steam… the last two super bowl champions were wildcards… so it is possible…

you are stupid. He can say he has a small D because I’d hope he didnt know that firsthand. you on the other hand have no sound evidence to support your argument.
baseBALLIN!
Answer this question
Do you think Pac man is a bad guy? Do you think Marbury is a bad guy? How about Iverson? Maybe the word I should have used is ASS would you agree all are asses? Or do you just like to argue? IMO all are bad guys but that is just me, I’m sure others agree.

"Do you think Pac man is a bad guy?"
Of course not. Goodell and police in 4 different states have simply been out to get him in the 22 separate incidents.

True
Admittedly, i did stoop down to your level and called you stupid, and in all honesty, i dont know you well enough to say that. But seriously, calling certain pro athletes bad people? You might not agree with their method’s of voicing displeasure, but I’d hope you wouldn’t judge other people the same way.
baseBALLIN!
No you are worse than I am
You judged me and you have never seen me or heard anything about me. I have seen and heard what others say about the players so I made a judgement about them.

Burress is a terrible person
He is a sad excuse for a human being.

you cant agree with that – you dont know him personally and you havent known him for his entire life and been by his side, like turtle.
thats the only way that one can make any judgements regarding someone

Scout: He was a first-round pick right? Got a huge bonus?
KG: Oh yeah.
Scout: Well, he spent a lot of it on milkshakes.

My sooner roommate is really sweating out this Baylor-TT game. Could be interesting and make the last two weeks of non stop arguing about the bcs moot.

What a dumbass.
This sure helps our chances in two weeks.
Plaxico is an amazing receiver. I hate the hell out of Eli, because I would bet half of his TDs are fades to Plax. He makes Eli look a lot better than he is.
I had a paper route when I was a kid. I was supposed to go to 2,000 houses. Or two dumpsters.
If the gun's not licensed,
and the police bust him for posession, it’s supposedly a minimum of 3 1/2 years in the pen. Mandatory.
What a tool bag.

details
Summary: He is initially not allowed to enter a night club because hes carrying a gun. He says its for his protection and eventually they let him in. Then while being escorted to the VIP room the gun falls down his pants leg, and while reaching to grab it he sets off the gun, shooting his thigh.
They eventually leave on their own, before his wife and such get him to go to a hospital later. The team tells the police. The gun has been stashed away somewhere.
Likely to be arrested for the gun.
the preceding post was a great success.
Call me crazy, but
if I need to pack heat for “protection” when I go into a club, maybe I don’t need to be hanging out there.
