New Rangers mailbag up

T.R. Sullivan has a new mailbag column up, that includes some comments about the Rangers' bullpen and catching situations for next season, and the obligatory howler of a trade proposal (this one for Tim Lincecum)...

when we make that trade for Lincecum. I might even throw in Drew Meyer as a sweetener.

Rangers send MY, Davis and Feliz to the Giants for Zito and Lincecum. Any takers?

So...

It’s basically swapping contracts with Zito for Young, and then Davis and Feliz get you Lincecum?

Uhh

I thought the interesting part about that was the “and they’ll need at least one GOOD right-hander to fill the void left by Jamey Wright” Is that insinuating that Jamey Wright was a good right-hander?

I was just going to give TR the benefit of the doubt that he wasn’t meaning Wright filled that void when he was here.
