I didn't feel like posting a fanpost, but

with all the suitors falling out of the Manny race, could Texas swoop in and grab the RH DH they desperately want? If they are able to shed Millwood, Padilla and Blalock, can the Rangers justify signing Sheets AND Ramirez?

Not worth it

Why do you want a very expensive DH who will be 37 next season and is a defensive liability? He’d cost more than he is worth at this point. I would have loved to have him a few years ago, or in trade for ARod, but not now.

I'd rather sign Sheets

and stick with Cruz and/or Max Ramirez as the right handed bat.

The VERY LAST THING this team should spend money on is a 36-yr. old DH.

The Yankees have made baseball what it is bye paying stupid money to everyone they can. The Yankees are again attempting to buy championships. It may work this time BUT as a baseball fan where is the fun in that. I hope this offseason sets the Yanks back for years with expensive \ long contracts.
