Christmas morning stuff
Merry Christmas, everyone.
Jim Reeves has a column up about Josh Hamilton and his return from the brink.
Otherwise, a quiet morning in Rangers news.

Quick and dirty, but it wouldn’t be Christmas without an image:

Merry Christmas to ME!!
For one Christmas present The Girl got me tickets to the Rangers opening day game! So we’ll be in Arllington April 6. See you goofballs then.
Nothing pithy here. Please move long.

Opening Day
I need to start looking into tickets, last time i went i got them via the insider newsletter and they only release the seats at the top of the stadium.

opening day
something i’ve never been to and as a huge sports fan something i really need to do at some point.
Me neither
I’ve been to many home openers but never opening day (granted, there’s a game the night before, but screw that. Opening day is when all baseball teams start).
Nothing pithy here. Please move long.
highly reccomended.
mostly because its very rare for the ballpark to be packed with fans and have a good atmosphere.
the preceding post was a great success.
Opening Day ...
… a bunch of us made a pact a few months ago to be there, with Micah (baseballismyboyfriend) even flying in from Iowa to attend!
I am hoping to still make the drive up, but it’s looking more and more like my sister will be having major surgery around that time, meaning that I will be taking care of my nephews and unable to attend. :( So you guys keep your fingers crossed that the surgery takes place after Opening Day.
Well
If you show up and see a guy in a brown University of Wyoming sweatshirt accompanying a Girl in a Red Sox hat, dats us.
Nothing pithy here. Please move long.
Dude
You seriously need to do some soul searching about the Red Sox girl.

You're not the first at LSB to recommend that
But I’m good. Besides being a great cook and beautiful, her fandom just allows us to bond through our hatred of the Yankees.
Merry Christmas to all. Now, the following isn’t me being religious (I’m a jack Catholic) but I just hate to see the end of Christmas. Who to say this better than Linus?
And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.
And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.
And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.
And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.’

Merry Christmas from the ghtd36 family.
Spent the morning playing with my new iPhone and getting excited for the tickets to the Stars/Sharks game on Monday. WOOOOOOO!
Here’s to a happy, healthy, and wholly entertaining holiday for my favorite online community. Cheers.

Received the new Josh Hamilton book and a nice
longsleeve Texas Rangers shirt (perfect to wear on those oh-so-rare chilly Spring Training games) for Christmas.
The wife also received a nice fitting shirt while the boy got himself a Josh Hamilton Fat-Head.
And people say I’m not a true fan of the Texas Rangers!!

Hopefully when your rugrat opened it up you mumbled something about how "He's great, but he'll never get a chance to do it in the playoffs... at least no here... JD... boy blunder... Chris Young trade... " ;)
