Talk about Douche Chills...
and look at that rumor of a Laird for Otsuka trade possibility!
Stars in a Texas Night Sky, a Dallas Stars blog from a fan's perspective.
Laird for Otsuka
What I wouldnt give for that deal to have been done in place of the one that did happen.
the preceding post was a great success.
Don't we all wish.
I highly doubt that deal would have gone down because we had absolutely no depth at catcher.

I've got some bad news for everybody
LSB’s favorite former Ranger has signed with the Astros. Of course, I’m talking about Matt Kata.
Now we can only hope that JD can convince Kenny Rogers to come back.

Fill in the blank
Next season will be a rousing success for the Rangers if . . .
Don't believe the hype about sloppy seconds. They ain't bad.

we find pitching……And that’s all it always comes down to.

If Nolan Ryan and Marcus Lemon shake hands.

There are two kinds of men in this world: Men who make jump throws, and men who wish that they were Derek Jeter so that they could make jump throws.

I'll go first
…Holland and Feliz are pitching meaningful innings in meaningful ballgames next August.
Don't believe the hype about sloppy seconds. They ain't bad.
Heh
I propose “This day in LSB history” become a regular feature. Looking back through the archives >>> the Friday video, IMO.

Sure but
Just how old is LSB?

So, roughly 3 years, 7 months and change.

its ironic how
Jeff was the first person to comment on the site
In reference to how good the Steelers have been in their history: "No one is even close to them."- Steal Home
also ironic
that he and Adam guaranteed:
Don’t worry about the ads. There will never be pop-ups, flash ads, or ads that make noise, so they shouldn’t be a problem for those of you who don’t click through on them.
They sold out, man.
Don't believe the hype about sloppy seconds. They ain't bad.

“Certainly brings to mind the photo in the ad on the left there, doesn’t it? Brett Tomko is definitely the pitching equivalent of coal in your stocking.”
Man…I remember that fucking ad.

Ah ... the carefree days when Brooks was Chris Martin.
I remember them well.

“You know how there’s talk every year about the winter meetings and then people come away disappointed because not much happened?” said Buck Showalter, the Texas Rangers’ manager. “I think this is going to be the year to make all of those people happy.”
Heh.
Who says no to this deal Cinci or Texas??
Laird, Lemon, Poveda and Arias for Homer Bailey, Daryl Thompson ?
WTF....were did Castro go?
Laird, Lemon, Poveda and Arias for Homer Bailey, Oscar Castro and
Daryl Thompson ?
Much better….
Sorry Longhorn for getting your hopes up bro
it just kinda makes sense from both sides…
Cinci needs a C to at least platoon with Hannigan, need MINF depth, is short in MINF deoth in the minors and they have a 40 man spot for Poveda.
Bailey needs a change of scenery, Thompson I like, but he lost 3-5 MPH on his FB 2 years ago and regained it again last year( but will it stick?), so he has some doubters, and Oscar Castro just screams a JD throw in… Young LA kid with a good sinking fastball, without a lot of innings to really get the hype up on him.
