today's game

Do spring training games have the gameday feature or anything like that.  If not is anybody getting it on the radio and be willing to give updates.  I am just going to be curious to what is happening, and don't like waiting.

looks like mlb.com
will have box scores

MLB
You should be able to follow the game at MLB's site.  I don't think that you will be able to follow pitch location but it will refresh every 30 seconds and provide a running box score of the game.

Unofficial MLB Game Day Link
http://mlb.mlb.com/mlb/gameday/y2007/gd.html?2008_02_27_kcamlb_texmlb_1

If it's anything like last year, it will be slow at times, but it's better than clicking refresh on the box score page.

I dunno man
The Royals do have their Ace John Bell on the mound.
For the second year in a row, the Academy gets it right. That means next year is going to be UGLY.

Doh
Yeah, it loses its affect when you rename the guy.  However, I must admit I love having the live box scores open again.  It's been way too long.

C'mon Murray
I do like the 3:1 GB to FB ratio. However, the BB/IP has to stop.
I've come to the conclusion that the two most important things in life are good friends and a good bullpen. ~Bob Lemon, 1981

First run
Byrd leads off the 2nd with a double, Broussard and Mench pop out, Murhpy drives in Byrd with a double

Go Go Broussard
My money is on him being the new "fan favorite" taking over from Barajas and Sosa.

Never
I never thought I'd be so happy to read that sentence.

haha that's my boy the MURPH

you can wake that boy up at 4 a.m. and put him in the batters box and he'll hit a double.
Murph = doubles machine

Kindly have a seat you have just been "gyrotized" Next victim please!

Now credit Luis Mendoza
Scoreless frame, struck out one. Pitching so far is off to a good start:

Murray: 2.0 IP, 2 K, 2 BB 0 ER
Mendoza: 1.0, 1 K 0 ER

Only the third inning, but still, that's not bad - no hits for the Royal screwups yet.

Sh!t
Way to start your run at that bullpen spot, Frankie.

Is Rupealoop scheduled to pitch today?

Pretty sure
Rupe is scheduled to pitch today.

Frankie gets out of it with two groundouts.

3-1 Rangers
With two outs, Laird doubles and Kinsler walks.  Borbon pinch runs for Laird, Ryan Roberts (?) pinch runs for Kinsler. Hamilton hits an opposite field double to drive both in.

Littleton pitching the 9th
Or Wes "Littlejohn" as the Royals announcer calls him.

by dieselT8 on Feb 27, 2008 4:53 PM CST reply actions   0 recs

Okay...
I say that should be his official new LSB nickname: "Littlejon".

Who agrees?

Nah
Kevin Mench had an RBI, so he's a proven run producer now - give it to him.
