I'm So Excited
Looking at our starting rotation going into 2008 based on what they did in 2007:
W-L = 25/43
IP = 539
Runs = 319
ERA = 5.33
Boy, I'm so excited......pump me up sheep!
One-line diaries are prohibited on Lone Star Ball. Give your diary a bit more thought, then give it another shot. If you have nothing to add to your proposed diary, then it probably belongs as a comment under another appropriate thread.

diaper dandy?
LOL very funny mr p!
Misinterpreted?
Pretty clear the last sentence was directed at someone else. LBrooks is excited because "he"'s ovulating, and "he"'s getting ready to spread it for "his" pet sheep "Hammertime". Why sheep though LBrooks? Aren't their arms too short to do a reach-around?
LOL
I think you're on to something there Rangerchick

ummm Math please
Padilla 6-10
Gabbard 6-1
McCarthy 5-10
Jennings 2-9
Total: 29-44
And most of these guys didn't even pitch a full season. So if you factor in the reported shape of these guys during the offseason and a little faith I would say for Rangers standards we have some reason for a little excitement.
question
you must be an angels fan in disguise...

That rotation in 2006
Padilla 15-10, 4.50 ERA
McCarthy 4-7, 4.68 ERA
Jennings 9-13, 3.78 ERA
Gabbard 1-3, 3.51 ERA
and
Tejeda 5-5, 4.28 ERA
Overall that's a 4.28 ERA
Will this group be able to return to that form in 2008. I wouldn't wager on it. However, they are likely to be closer to those numbers than their combined 2007 numbers with any luck at all. If healthy (yes, I realize that's a big if), this could be an above average rotation. No horse at the top, but 4 potential solid 2/3 type starters. The White Sox rode that to a WS title a few years ago.
We aren't on that path of course, but this rotation isn't anywhere as bad as it looked last year.

Well...
For Swiper, I was actually referring to all the negative bs that LBrooks always posts though.
Not Nearly......
Who, BTW, was the best pitcher on this team last year and had much better numbers than yourself.
