I'll second that
love reading stuff about guys who are under the radar.
Theory: Jeter wears rings on fielding hand, rendering fielding borderline impossible.

Pina
I watched the box scores all summer waiting, hoping for an uptick.  Unfortunately, the only month (June) his numbers went up also featured a sudden jump in BABIP.  I'll keep watching this year.
A working class hero is something to be.

you can't believe this guy
other players gather around to watch him;  if he can hit .240 somehow, he's a player... the defense is that good

sadly
I think you may have nailed it.  But I'm not bullshitting when I say he's pretty much got Pudge's arm strength, accuracy, pop time....

that's an incredibly bold statement
got any times on his throw from home to 2nd?

Hey, MJH (or others)
Where do you think Pina and Santana end up this year?

Both guys have significant upside (though Santana's is obviously higher due to the bat) and it seems to me both should be ticketed for Clinton.

Pina could conceivably be sent to Bakersfield, but his .228/.278/.285 line last year in Clinton makes me think he would benefit from a repeat.

Pina caught the BAK game
yesterday - it sounded like anyway.  So, Pina at BAK, Santana at Clinton sounds likely.

yep
If Salty starts at OKC then both Tea and Max will be in Frisco. Tea will be the primary catcher but max will get a couple days a week and DH. Once Salty gets called up Tea will go to OKC and Max will be the primary catcher.

Per BA's prospect blog
Max was assigned to the Frisco roster.  And if you go to the Frisco roster at MiLB.com Max, Diamond, Madrigal, Harrison and Ragsdale are already listed there.  Ragsdale under 'pitchers' - for some reason.

I'm guessing Max gets some starts at different positions and DH to get his due AB's.  Tea declared to Newy Scruggs' cameraman that he's fit to catch 5 days a week now - bone bruise permitting, I'm sure.

Ragsdale was a pitcher last year
but he's been taking BP and working out at shortstop with the Rangers, for what it's worth.

clearly
back at SS full time

OKC should be:

Shelton, Gold, Duran, Meyer, Ragsdale, Fox and (Metcalf- DL) in the IF

Boggs, Mench, Ellison, Mahar and maybe Ben Harrison in the OF

Salts and Stewart at C

The rotation will probably include:  Hurley, Harrison, Mathis, Mendy, and Murray.

Bullpen:  Loe, Rupe, Lizard, Frankie Frank, Feldy, White and THE LARGE ONE

That's my best guess

yes
They'll split time.  Don't be too surprised to see Max at 1b from time to time once CD moves on to OKC.

Man
This year's Clinton team is gonna be FUN, especially if their aggressive with some of the Latin kids.

Santana, Beltre, Feliz, Castillo, Beavan, Main, Ramirez, and maybe, just maaaybe, we'll see Big Font there by the end of the season.

It's almost enough to make me consider a trip to visit Iowa. Wait... No it isn't.
