Minor League Rotations
Richard Durrett has the AAA and AA rotations up.
AAA is interesting, particularly once Mendoza heads back down and replaces the Lizard.
But as far as AA goes, once Matt Harrison gets promoted, there ain't a lot to be enthused about.

Mendoza, presumably, will be back in AAA in May once McCarthy returns.

odds?
Unless someone else gets hurt or sucks.
I think there's a better than 50/50 chance of one of these scenarios coming to fruition.
History says
that we will go through about a dozen starters total this year, so I'd say its way better than 50/50. More like 95/5.

Mendoza
Heads back down? Hes on the DL and once he gets called up he should stay around for good. If Ponson doesn't come up to relieve someone by May 1st and takes his release that should open the spot for Harrison
I'm assuming
those aren't in any particular order. There's a chance for Schlact and Ballard to surprise this year, but they need to do something soon if they're to remain viable prospects. I don't think this rotation experiment with Feldman is going to amount to anything. He'd be better off staying in the pen and just focusing on consistency.
A working class hero is something to be.
I think Schlact had some good news going into this year
right? Like, he was working on something specific, or he was hurt, and he started putting it together...? am I way off on this?

Minor League position player news
DMN has an article up about the position player assignments. Highlights:
-Tea and Max split catching/DH in Frisco.
-Arias will start at 2B in OKC until his arm strength returns, then slide over to SS. Duran and Shelton are other notables in OKC's IF. The outfield is Davis, Mench and Boggs.
-Frisco includes Davis at 1B and Andrus at SS. Diamond will join the rotation when he's ready.
-Bakersfield features Borbon, Jones, Kiker, Hunter and Whittleman.
-Castillo is going to Clinton. Warner Madrigal will close in Frisco.

Haven't heard much about
Madrigal in a while, I'm going to be keeping an eye on him this year.
Troy I.
Timetable
To me, the fact that both Tea and Ramirez are starting at AA indicates that Salty could be back fairly quickly. Otherwise wouldn't it be better to start Max at A+ and just move both of them up when Salty gets moved up so everyone could be catching on a regular basis?
Ellison in OF @ OKC*
Mayberry, TD, and Davis should all be up in OKC soon enough as well.

More Minor League position player news
from TR Sullivan:
-Arias will be used primarily as a DH (hah!) but play some 2B until his arm strength improves
-Bakersfield rotation is Phillips, Poveda, Jones, Hunter and Bannister. Pina catching. Kiker will remain in AZ for a couple weeks, then join, presumably in place of Bannister.
A working class hero is something to be.
don't know anything about Bannister
but the rest of that rotation looks amazing, and when Kiker joins...WOW.

AA Rotation
Where will Beau Jones be? I guess Diamond will go to AAA once he returns from TJ in June. Neftali Feliz should see AA by August. Frisco might also see Zachery Phillips if he does something at Bakersfield and almost definitely see Omar Poveda at some point.
pitching
Beau Jones will start in Bakersfield along with Poveda, Hunter and Kiker. Diamond will go to Frisco when he comes back. He will be used as a starter. If he progresses like planned he will probably join OKC around Aug 1 and then be a September callup since he is already on the 40 man.
By the end of the year the Frisco rotation could include all three of Kiker, Poveda, and Hunter if they perform like last year. Phillips could get a look in Frisco or he could be held back since he will be rule 5 eligible this winter. Holding him back could keep teams from taking him thus allowing us another year to bring him along.
Jones
Durrett said Bakersfield.
So am I the only one who looked at the RedHawks roster and went meh?

For old times sake...C'mon Kelly! :-)
Aw, c'mon, Bev
you get to watch Hurley, Salty, and Duran, and later this year, Davis.

what about Kometani?
is he moving to AAA? Is he a viable closer in the making??
