I cant predict 7 runs
so ill predict millwood finds his 2005 self and the rangers win 3-2 w/ 2 runs off of whoever pitches the 8th.

Apparently one of the uber-kewl new features of 2.0 is that it starts not 1, but 2 (!) game day threads.
That's totally awesome. I never would have thought of that.

BTW, really good game between Detroit and KC today. Royals slayed the Tigers in extra innings. Verlander outpitched Meche, by a little, even though Verlander's box score looks a little bit worse in some ways. Cabrera went deep all ready.

didnt say anything because i didnt want to even vaguely insult kins, but i thought it was pretty odd that he would miss opening day with a fever unless this was far more serious than most average cold/fever stuff is. a sick kinsler on medication > vazquez.

We get a Rangers game on FSN HD, and they can't even do that right. Today has not been a good day for HD baseball with the Yankees game being cancelled and an SD Tigers-Royals feed being shown on ESPN, and the Cubs game being delayed. Ugh.

Television Broadcast
I have DirecTV, the sports pack with all the FSN channels and I subscribe to the extra innings.
Now, I am getting all the games on the FSN channels which I thought would be blacked out hence purchasing extra innings.
Is it just because it's the start of the year why the FSN channels are showing the games?

FSN HD will only be for HOME games, not away games. That's how it is for the Mavs games on FSN as well. Sucks, but at least its something.

There's a little train that runs up over the left field stands at Minute Maid field, along where the roof opens and closes.

but it will make the umps look really bad. Public opinion was pretty much on Milton's side from the incident last year. If the umps retailiate that obviously all the time, then Milton will go from being one of baseball's bad boys to one of its "chips stacked against him" underdogs...
