Harden to the DL
I know, big surprise huh? I came across this old article that talks about his rigorous workout program. To me, it is so glaringly obvious why this guy is getting hurt and not fulflling his potential, and it makes me truly insane to see some of these comments by his manager and conditioning coach. Interesting they were calling his muscles strain in 2006 a "freak" injury. Hardly.

And in other unexpected news...
...the sun rose in the east this morning and appears to be headed for a westerly sunset this afternoon.
Right around the time all the young talent is ready to contend is when the organization will realize that Ron Washington is the wrong man for the job.

It's a shame
I really like this guy as a player, despite playing for division rival. It's going to be a shame if he can't string together a successful season again.
However, this diminishes his trade value, because the A's were certainly going to trade him once they got his value up.
And with the 22nd overall selection the Dallas Cowboys select Jonathan Stewart.

Eh
I got two good starts out of him for my fantasy team. That's about what I was hoping for.

Harden is amazing
And not in a good way. I'm wondering if perhaps he has some kind of muscular problem, like Rocco Baldelli does... but just wait, if Oakland ever releases him, JD will snap him up.
