Feldman up, Fukumori down
Kaz Fukumori has been optioned to AAA, making room on the 25 man roster for Scott Feldman, who is getting the start today.
Not shocking, given that Fukumori has struggled in two of his first three outings, after a strong spring, and given that he and Josh Rupe were the only optionable options in the pen.
Feldman will get sent down tomorrow, and someone else will be called up to replace him.

I like it...
now if we just call up Wes tomorrow then the pen looks much better. It leaves us with BGL as the only lefty until Eddie G can be activated in a week but that should be ok for a week or so.

Benoit has the splits of a LHP.

Feldman
Care to guess what his overall line will look like today?
My guess: 5 IP, 7 hits, 3 ER, 2 BB, 2 K
lepricon
5.2, 6h, 2ER, 3BB, 1K
Effectively wild-pulled at 96 pitches.
...it's the weekend, so why the hell not?
-Effectively-
miss that word?
I don't expect the world from him, just trying to send him some good karma. Also, he has not faced any MLB teams with his new delivery, which should be an advantage.

5.1, 8 hits, 5 R, 3 ER, 3 BB, 4K
Another letdown performance by the IF defense
There is no such thing as global warming. David Murphy was cold, so he turned the sun up.
