Same pitch...

BS...

...you don't blame the umpire when the entire team sucks balls when runners are in scoring position.

Eckstein

Got that pitch called a ball for him. Must have been all his grit clouding the ump's vision.

by rcreative on Apr 13, 2008 5:05 PM CDT reply actions

Nah...

Cause we're going to win next inning.

I could go for a hammy walk off.

But now Im scared for the 10th. Who on earth are we going to use?

Well, i know that....

All I meant was that I would of course like a walkoff, but its still like 65% chance we see a 10th.

that is if CJ can get out of this inning.

Gerald Laird is my hero.

by DShep on Apr 13, 2008 5:10 PM CDT up reply actions

I'm guessing they don't

want to have him pitch 2 for some reason

by Randy Richardson on Apr 13, 2008 5:07 PM CDT up reply actions

Actually...

The guy I'd like to see up at the plate now is David Eckstein.

by Gdawg on Apr 13, 2008 5:05 PM CDT reply actions

Botts appears to need regular at bats to get into a groove

but he is never going to get regular at bats if he keeps hitting like crap in his limited opportunities. As much as I am a fan of his and want him to succeed, I just can't see him doing it.

by uthornfan on Apr 13, 2008 5:05 PM CDT reply actions

This might be a dumb time

to bring this up, considering how good our starting pitching has been, and how well Chris-John is doing in the 'pen, but I still think it's a huge waste of talent not letting CJ start.

I love the Rangers?

Regardless, it's obvious they just like kicking me in the nuts.

Yup

We have such a horrible team. Good players... bad team.

See you in a week

After the round of expletives that just came out of my mouth, I've been grounded Rangers baseball for a week. At least the kids were outside. See y'all next Sunday.

Bummer, dude!

...it's the weekend, so why the hell not?

by Rodney on Apr 13, 2008 5:51 PM CDT up reply actions

I'm opposite

When I get this upset at my teams I generally just have nothing to say at all.

by Chris Hanes on Apr 13, 2008 5:53 PM CDT up reply actions

That's how I am typically

I guess something in me just snapped today.

by rcreative on Apr 13, 2008 5:57 PM CDT up reply actions

get's worse folks...

...bullpen is overworked... no days off in sight...

and jason bleeping jennings takes the mound tomorrow.

by oc on Apr 13, 2008 5:51 PM CDT reply actions

Well

We can send Feldman down now, and call up a fresh arm at least.

by LSJ on Apr 13, 2008 5:52 PM CDT up reply actions

True dat

Perhaps two roster moves coming?

...it's the weekend, so why the hell not?

by Rodney on Apr 13, 2008 5:52 PM CDT up reply actions

maybe

I wouldn't be surprised if they put Wright on the DL and send Feldman down and then called up Littleton and Francisco.

by Randy Richardson on Apr 13, 2008 5:55 PM CDT up reply actions

Right

Not many more moves than that, except to DFA someone, right?

...it's the weekend, so why the hell not?

by Rodney on Apr 13, 2008 5:58 PM CDT up reply actions

yeah

although I'm not sure how long there leash is going to be with German, The knock on the guy is that he can't throw strikes, and he obviously still can't throw strikes.

by Randy Richardson on Apr 13, 2008 6:06 PM CDT up reply actions

Kindof

we will proably call up Wes or FF when Feldman gets send down.

FF

Has been freaking amazing in OKC. 4 games, 5.0 IP, ERA of zip, 6 K's.

by LSJ on Apr 13, 2008 5:53 PM CDT up reply actions

I meant one more

We know one move is gonna happen.

...it's the weekend, so why the hell not?

by Rodney on Apr 13, 2008 5:54 PM CDT up reply actions

lost weekend

what an incredibly disappointing weekend. I made it a point to watch all three games. Our situational hitting is horrible, and I constantly have the feeling that Wash is in over his head.

That'll sum it up for me as well.

It's not just you oc

But...

I am FAR from a prude when it comes to stuff like this but can we lighten up on the language on these threads just a tad?

Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.
