Don't really look that stupid

The point of contention is that the Rangers suck with runners in RISP. We left like 19 guys in SP tonight, including 1 meltdown of calamitous proportions. I understand that our timely hitting will get better, but as of right now, it sucks.

The idea that winning cures all that is, to be frank, crap.

backup catcher

That why he is your backup catcher. What do yall want back there Pudge Rodriguez part 2? He usually plays once a week. The only reason he is in tonight is Blalock got hurt. Open your eyes dude. He’s bad but he isn’t supposed to win the triple crown or anything

by bigsteve on Apr 16, 2008 10:58 PM CDT up reply actions

Exactly

You can’t have 25 all stars on your roster. The backup catcher position is the least important especially with what we have in the minors. If Laird goes down we don’t have to rely on our backup for extended play. He plays once a week twice max. Get over it he doesn’t have to be an all star. If he can play the position he is fine.Jesus man is there anything you don’t complain about

unless you take into account being able to play C and 3rd. he is HORRIBLE in any situation where we need him to come through offensively – couldn’t even get a bat on the ball

I can’t wait for the Laird trade to come through…but I’d almost rather have Salty called up right now and keep Laird, to get rid of Melhuse

foul tip strikeouts, overthrows, popups, and stupid FAIL images. Just another day as a Ranger fan.

What was it?

Will Smith lives and escapes to be ruggedly handsome with them to the compound and the world is saved, I’m guessing?

Just

Wayne’s World blathering from me. I haven’t seen I Am Legend, and don’t really care if I ever do.

by brettgardner on Apr 16, 2008 11:37 PM CDT up reply actions

What is it

I don’t feel like renting it to see again. I had a horrible experience seeing that in the theater. I had those stereotypical black moviegoers seated right behind me and it just sucked. They were yelling at the screen and to each other the whole time. “Don’t go into the building, Will Smith! You know there’s gonna be a zombie in there! There’s gonna be a zombie in there, Will Smith! Oh, no! He is NOT gonna… Oh, he’s going in the damn building!!!! Can you believe it? Get out the building Will Smith! Oh, shit! Did you see that dog!? There was a dog right there. A dog!

I would’ve told them to STFU, but there was a whole group of them, plus minorities scare me.

It was pretty sucky

But it was one of those times where you have to weigh the suckiness of the situation versus the suckiness of doing something about it. I hate tattling, and I’m just not tough enough to fight four full grown men.

I’m only 165, but I’m pretty ripped and look pretty darn crazy. Like hobo crazy. I could have probably shouted that I had AIDS and then threaten to give them a good stabbing and they’d have backed off, but who knows.
