Game 16 game day thread

Texas Rangers at Toronto Blue Jays, Apr 17, 2008 6:07 PM CDT

Some big questions for tonight's game...can the Rangers win 2 in a row?  Can Josh Lewin avoid making any "Duran Duran" jokes with German Duran playing third base?  Can Ron Washington leave Jason Botts in for an entire game?  Can Vicente Padilla throw 150 pitches, if need be (given that Josh Rupe is the only fresh arm in the pen)?

Vicente Padilla v. Roy Halladay...

Go Rangers...

That Lewin can’t resist it, and I wouldn’t want him to—it’s part of his charm.

Yeah,

The Reflex

and Hungry like the Wolf will both be referenced in this game. I’m not sure Lewin can find a way to sneak in a reference to Rio or A View to a KIll but I’m sure he will try.

Duran's gamecast picture

Is mad ghetto, it shows him holding his bat baseball card style, not just his face.

Kind of like when you were the new kid in school and you had to get the impromptu yearbook photo and it was always a different background that everybody elses.
