Stars in a Texas Night Sky, a Dallas Stars blog from a fan's perspective.
All that's going to accomplish
Is Dallas getting the #8 seed, promptly getting swept out of the playoffs and losing their first round pick anyway.
I just got on this site
What do yall talk about for 500 COMMMENTS!?!??!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LXWLfIgc0nA

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
Nice Michael......................................................................................
Don't lnyone call you a d-bagg.
Milton Bradley for MVP
Crap...
*Sigh*
The Rangers still suck in the clutch.
I'd love for part of the "new look" to be a return to the red uniforms of the 1990s. - Ian Kinsler
since 2005
no one has been better with RISP than MY. Hardly sucking in the clutch.
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
between innings talk
i really like this chat system..you can walk away, come back hit the Z key and up to speed on everything.
sigh....
Is there a team in Dallas that dosen't crack under pressure?
Cowboys
Stars
Mavs
Rangers
all mental midgets.
Meh...
if Crayton doesn't figuratively take a dump on the star during the playoff game, we might be talking differently about the Cowboys.

Somebody from the Mariners dugout should come over and thank MY
That right there might be the reason why we lose the game.
Millwood and Padilla
doing good, hope they keep it up.
Would love to get some youngins at the trade dealine...
Milton Bradley for MVP
For Padilla yes...
I would hold onto Millwood through at least next year though.
"The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance."-Socrates
What is Lewins
obsession with this old guy?
Poor guy, every Seattle game for like 4 years Lewin has been stalking him....
Milton Bradley for MVP
sounds like the tag-line
to a really bad made-for-tv action movie starring Padilla, Mr. T and Dick Butkis
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
Case in point...
plus good thing that was Wilky at the plate.
Stars in a Texas Night Sky, a Dallas Stars blog from a fan's perspective.
Astros
have started the season with 14 scoreless innings...MLB record is 17, and 2nd is 15 innings.
Hammy...
doesn't look like he is getting a good read on the ball today. Nice recovery for the catch though.
"The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance."-Socrates
Hamilton = BEAST!

you think hamilton is going to strike out? lets see if your prediction comes through
It's nice to have a defensive centerfielder finally

does that say more about A-Rod's massive contract or the Marlin's stinginess?

at least they're getting runners on tonite

haha
It is so funny reading the ebb and flow of these comments. It really shows how much of an up and DOWN team we are, with definite emphasis on the down.

Yeah...
Threw out 2 guys last night, had Vidro dead to rights if Kinsler had caught the ball tonight, got down a great sac bunt and a single earlier...
But yeah, because of that AB, your reaction is appropriate...

dude padilla is
giving some electric stuff
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
Weird...
The highlights of the last two games have been the starting pitching..
Offense really letting us down.
Milton Bradley for MVP
In all fairness
In that ballpark, against Bedard and Felix.
Still dissapointing, though. I agree.
Jarrod Saltalamacchia: The Man, the Myth; The Alphabet.
just wondering
does anyone miss crazy carl everett
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
No, but
I miss Chris Young and, now, Adrian Gonzalez.

honeslty id rather
have a gassed padilla than a full wright
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
Why does wash refuse to pinch hit
Laird can NOT hit righties, let alone felix hernandez. 6th inning isnt really too early to pinch hit in such a crucial situation. and it certainly wasnt too early in the 8th or whenever last night.
because it's only the sixth
and you need a catcher thru at least the next two innings
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
what are the chances that melhuse is going to get hurt, really.
the running on the catcher is a good point.
if we are going to have a backup catcher who cant hit it would be nice if he could throw.
i know who would be good for that role.
my point wasn't that Melsuse might get hurt
but that Laird is an excellent defensive catcher. Not everyone on the team can hit .300
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
Why does
it seem like whenever Connor goes to the mound, the pitching gets ten times worse?
Milton Bradley for MVP
That wasn't funny
Although you did make me hit "Live TV"

NICE job
our two main starters have done their job so far
Back to back...
quality starts by our #1 and #2 starters. I'll bet that only happened once or twice last year.
"The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance."-Socrates
offense may be off to a slow start
but I'm pleased with the starting pitching thus far
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
What have we learned, children?
The Mariners are bad at hitting!
Jarrod Saltalamacchia: The Man, the Myth; The Alphabet.
Great Job by Padilla
Millwood and Padilla not only pitched well in their first two starts, but they have looked very solid. Their stuff looks good, they look confident, and they got results. Let's hope this sticks and hope for more good results tomorrow from Jennings. If those three are healthy and strong, I really like this team's chances.
PADZILLA is back!
hide your women, children and tequila bottles!

If the rangers can pull this out
Id consider 1-1 v the two aces while seeing the re-dedicated emergence of millwood/padilla a very solid 2 game start, offensive problems dont bother me.
so uh.. hope we win.
wooo brousard rocks .
Well
The offense will still be a a concern, but it should come around. Hey, check the Rangers wallpaper thread, will ya Shep? I got a question for you posted over there.
OK that's it...
WE HAVE TO SEND PADILLA OUT TO START THE 7th!

Regardless of if he was out or safe at second,
Ian has to get a better bunt down. If he puts the bunt in the right place, there isn't even a play at second.
JEEZUS
the curse lives on

holy frak
could MY have worse luck?
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
So hitting a hard liner up the middle is a bad thing?
Felix just got lucky. Quit being a douche.

his fault he made great contact

but josh lewin over reacted. he got his ass saved by his defense... never thoguht id say that.. but padilla is wondering where that was
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
the lineup move needs to be made sooner rather than later
although really, hed still be coming in and just face hamilton-bradley-blalock, i guess thats not that much different.
it was used last night
its power is weak. it needs another inning to charge. we will have to depend on blalock/bradley for this inning.
Finally...
we get a call.
