Laird can NOT hit righties, let alone felix hernandez. 6th inning isnt really too early to pinch hit in such a crucial situation. and it certainly wasnt too early in the 8th or whenever last night.

Millwood and Padilla not only pitched well in their first two starts, but they have looked very solid. Their stuff looks good, they look confident, and they got results. Let's hope this sticks and hope for more good results tomorrow from Jennings. If those three are healthy and strong, I really like this team's chances.
