Murph

will get it done.

by sprite on Apr 1, 2008 11:34 PM CDT   0 recs

+1

Excellent. Murph comes though with Turtle power.

LSB 2.0 confuses and scares me.

nice call.

Always believe in baseball players named Murphy.

My all time hero, Dale Murphy.

Murphy = STARTER

I'd love for part of the "new look" to be a return to the red uniforms of the 1990s. - Ian Kinsler

by ortonius on Apr 1, 2008 11:36 PM CDT   0 recs

wow

this is amazing. lefties pulling the ball against lefties.

by ab03 on Apr 1, 2008 11:36 PM CDT   0 recs

L or R

He needs to stay in the lineup

by bigskinny on Apr 1, 2008 11:36 PM CDT   0 recs

Do you still hate Murphy AJM?

give in to the light. murphy is rusty greer but 2x as good. admit it.

--------------

ok, but at least a good 3 1/2 outfielder.

by DSheppard on Apr 1, 2008 11:36 PM CDT   0 recs

thats his low point i think

=)

But seriously... Im not actually making any judgements based off one double =p i just like everything about the guy. Hes never going to be an all star, hes probably never going to be a really legit good corner OF, but hes a solid guy who should stay on the mlb roster a long time.

He has definitely beem promoted from 4th OF to 3.5 OF.

by DSheppard on Apr 1, 2008 11:40 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

heh

i was just busting balls. but i guess when i hear those comparisons i feel like greer isn't getting his due

by ab03 on Apr 1, 2008 11:42 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Not

bad for a "#4" outfielder.

I'm one of his biggest fans.

Ron Washington says after Fukumori gives up 2 hits, 3 earned runs, 2 walks and a couple of wild pitches in a third of an inning.

Well that's comforting!

over/under

jason botts first at bat: april 5th

by DSheppard on Apr 1, 2008 11:43 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

btw

so that i dont contradict things i said in the offseason, i still dont value botts that highly and would have been sad to see him leave if DFAd but i wouldnt have been up in arms had it been done.

but if hes going to be on the 25 man roster, you might as well use him when youve got broussard against lefties and laird in your lineup.

by DSheppard on Apr 1, 2008 11:44 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs
