New podcast up
z is blogging today, but I just wanted to jump in and give everyone the heads-up that there's a new podcast up today...
You can go to the iTunes version here, or the non-iTunes version here.
You can hear me have a bit of a meltdown reliving Marlon Byrd's based-loaded GIDP from the other night...

Conjuncture
I almost called him out on that, but since I fumbled through the whole hour myself, I thought better of it.

so you are the other guy?
and what’s your name so we don’t keep calling you the other guy
Rare Gnats Sex
that was funny
Although I will say that I like the host-dude. He does a good job, has a good radio voice/presence, and his opinions on the Rangers are reasonable and well-informed.
But that river of tears has dried for all of us.
Byrd
If I strung together all of my rants about Marlon Byrd’s god awful play this season, it would block out a couple of consecutive days of work. He is making me insane this season.
My Marlon Byrd Meltdown
Since we’re sharing, was his blunder of stopping at 3rd as Walbeck was waving him home for an easy run thus stranding Murphy between 2nd and 3rd. I simply lost it.

God Yes
That is probably the worst, but all the mishandled balls, the erroneous throws, the STRIKEOUTS, especially – with bases loaded – make me nuts. Byrd makes me nuts. When I see people in the stands doing that stupid bird wing dance thing for him, I want to shake them like a baby.
that sounds amusing
Looking forward to checking this out.

Is it just me
Or is anyone else surprised when they hear Adam speak the first time? I always thought he would have a very slight accent if any and a more baritone voice. Instead, he sounds like a guy working at a gas station in Decatur who has a large vocabulary….not that there is anything wrong with that.
Better to be judged by 12 than carried by 6.

I never thought...
...I had much of an accent, until people on LSB heard me talk on some of these things.
