DFW sports suck.
That is all. Mavs and Rangers and Cowboys. Embarrassing. Choke city? I don't know frankly I just don't think the teams are that good.
How to get past the 75 word limit? This is the story bout Rob and Cory and their rise to the top before they get dropped and it’s such a sad shame they couldn’t finish the game they couldn’t finish the tale that they’ve dreamed and kicked around But this is real life dreams killed with a knife don’t tell this to your brother ya sister ya wife.......
Oh, we still got the Stars! Yeah!

choked?
When did the chokage happen? its one thing if u said tony choked 2 years ago, but last year the cowboys just lost to a team that got hot at the right time, and if my memory serves me correctly, the giants did win the super bowl, correct? Choking happens when you yourself give the game away. The Giants made the plays when they needed to.

Yep
Pats did choke
And so did the Cows. Nice hands Crayton… keep talking shit like your back in DeSoto. What a dumbass. “We’ll see them again, IF they the Super Bowl.” Idiot.

And so did the Packers
and perhaps the Bucs as well (I missed the game so I can’t say for certain).
My point is the national media constantly talks about how the Giants defense defeated the Bucs, Pats and Packers yet when they talk about the Cowboys it’s always “Cowboys choked”

DFW sports
It is hard to live in the DFW area for young people like me who were very spoiled growing up watching the Cowboys win 3 super bowls and the stars winning the Stanley Cup. Sometimes you have to understand that winning comes with its own consequences. Call it nostalgia or ignorance, but i doubt anything will live up to the mid to late 90s for DFW sports.

Yup...
I’m 22, almost 23, and grew up in that same span. Cowboys winning super bowls. Stars takign a Stanley Cup. Rangers making the playoffs for all 3 of their franchise postseason appearances. Not to mention, Mavs on their upswing. Add in the Dallas Sidekicks back in the day always being good and you hadtons of goodness going on. Hasn’t been a whole lot going on since the 90s though. Then again, look at Philly, they haven’t had a championship since Villanova back in the mid 80s. It can happen to all cities where all the sports just go sour for years.

The next person who tries to spin the Mavs
For something they are not, is gonna get bitch slapped.
They made terrible, terrible decisions, they are a team on the downslide, with no future draft picks for awhile, that are going to be very bad before they are very good again.
Chris Paul cannot be stopped, we had someone who could stop him (His name was Devin Harris) but we traded him away.
If we don’t get swept away like bitches, I will consider that a small win.

Two things
1. Yes I acknowledge it is hard to stop Chris Paul no matter who you are, he is the MVP in my opinion.
2. Your wrong. See your just used to seeing Jason Kidd guard him for these last three games, and it makes him look fully unstoppable, but oh dont be fooled. If Devin Harris can hang with Tony Parker, he can hang with Chris Paul, enough to slow him down a bit.

You're wrong
Harris vs Paul this year: Paul had 33/12 with Harris a Mav and 25/16 against the Nets.

Like I said before, he is unstoppable.
He would still do better than Kidd over a series though.

haha Saltys giving out bitch slaps.
You got to do what ya gotta do sometimes :) Wow they sound pretty damn pathetic hmmm where have I heard a smiliar fate before? “They are going to be very bad before they are very good again.” except the Rangers IMO have never been “very good”...good maybe but very good not so much.

Well
They have their first rounder in ‘09. Just not this year or ‘10. Man… that unprotected ‘10 pick freaking kills me. That really could be a top 3 pick.
Things aren’t looking bright for the Mavs. If they can’t package Howard this off season to get a reliable second scorer, they’re proper fucked.

There are other teams besides the BIG THREE
The Fort Worth Cats have been the champions of their league three years running.
FC Dallas regularly makes the playoffs and their matches are awesome live.
The Frisco Roughriders are 14-4 and sit atop the South.
There are a lot of good things to watch and get involved in if you just take the time to look.
