Who is the guy? (poll now attached)

In the interest of optimism/hope/insomnia, with a few weeks of results trickling in, and with the news that Beavan is joining Clinton, who is this system's headline pitching prospect?

The reason that I think that this is especially topical is that all of these rebuilding efforts, while potentially producing the majority of a nice lineup, are looking like window dressing right now, until the bulk of these pitchers are hitting the majors and there is a real chance to have a true overhaul of the pitching staff from inside the organization. But who's the guy you find yourself pointing too beyond the others?

Among the best candidates you have eight first round picks (Hurley, Diamond, Jones, Kiker, Main, Beavan, Hunter, Ramirez), two young Latin American guys who can touch 100 (Feliz and Font), and then sort of a secondary group that includes the likes of Harrison, Poveda, Reed, Phillips and Holland.

But I think that, at least at the moment, my choice may be Fabio Castillo. Eye witness accounts are pretty jaw dropping (and have been since he was 17), he's still only 19, and he seems to have made a major step forward from struggling in the NWL to getting off to an electric - if a bit under the radar - start in full season ball. He's said to be one of the guys with the real potential for three legit pitches, but he's also one of the ones with a truly electric fastball.

Now, him being my choice probably shouldn't encourage me a ton, since he's a teenager and a long ways away from the majors. But pitchers can come fast, especially once they hit High A.
