I have figured out what his weakness is

He goes after too many bad pitches up and away. Three pop flys to the left side of the diamond if I'm counting right. He needs to lay off the stuff up and away.

Just got home from Austin

and looks like last night was another pitching gem and that Brou is pretty good and the Padilla Flotilla is doing its thing again. And Mike Young's contract extension still hasn't started, yay!

Excellent.

It was incredible comeback

Add to that the great game by the Stars, the Rangers keep this up......

Hate to break it to you

but it was pretty good. Nothing truly special but some clutch shots by Dirk and some energy by the team that I haven't seen in a while.

And Vlad got struck out

What a historically awful game for Vlad against the Angels.

by Gdawg on Apr 6, 2008 5:11 PM CDT reply actions

Vlad going hitless against the Rangers?

could this be for real?

Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.

by WhipSmart on Apr 6, 2008 5:11 PM CDT reply actions

First Time?

I know that we officially broke Vlad's streak against us during Buck's last year, however that was done cheaply with walks. IMO, this is the first time we've actually shut the dude down.

I think so

I can't remember a game where he didn't at least get a walk from the Rangers.

Heya Brandon!

PacMan fever seems to have hit a temporary lull; there's been little to no action over the past week :(. We can only look at so many mocks before we memorize the complete resume of every projected first round talent.

We should use him more as a DH since his defense already sucks.
