I have never used this program but wanted to see if anyone knew whether I could use it (or a similar program) to watch the home opener today? I also had some other questions:
1) can I use sopcast on a mac? I can use another computer if I have to but its kinda of a pain.
2) could I use sopcast for every game?
3) what is the quality like?
Thanks to anyone that can provide assistance?

I've never used it
but I have a Mac, and I looked into it. It's rather difficult to do, and you'd be better off using a windows computer if possible.
You should be able to see today's game however, but I'm not 100% sure.

Sopcast works pretty well, but
they are in a dispute with MLB and none of the games are being streamed thru them.
http://www.myp2pforum.eu/mlb/ has all of the info including Sop alternatives.
