Jordan Schafer - 50 game suspension

Jordan Schafer was suspended by the league for an HGH violation. Texas supposedly asked for him as part of the Teixeira trade and got Saltalamacchia instead.

I never had a problem with the deal, even with Johnny Douchebag in AAA to start the season, but this makes things look even better. Imagine the uproar over JD's trade record had he received Schafer rather than Salty:

I believe it was Schafer over Andrus and not Salty. Salty would have been included either way. I am glad they got who they got and now even more so.

Just think about it.

Why would the Braves trade Schafer when Andruw Jones was going to be a FA?
Salty was blocked by McCann so they can trade him.
They had Renteria and Escobar at SS last year so they can get rid of Andrus.
