OT: DFW Weather

I suppose this is when two of my favorite subjects - the Texas Rangers and severe weather - collide:

Hopefully the storms hold off until after tonight's game concludes, but it would come as no great surprise to me if this game was rained out.

Entire DFW area is currently under a tornado watch until 11 PM; a tornadic supercell has been reeking havoc to the west, and may be on track to slam into Denton/Sherman/McKinney in the coming hours.

I'm in Arlington right now

At UTA and the weather doesn't look so promising. I have 2 extra tickets 4 rows behind home plate I would let go for $20 a piece if anyone wants to meet me out their.

Per Evan Grant. Sounds like a coin toss as to whether this game will get underway.

Crazy weather...

as I'm typing this, I'm sitting here looking out my front window and it's sunny and snowing.

I really hope it clears up enough in DFW to get this game in. I want the bad taste in my mouth from yesterday's game removed ASAP.

Once the games starts its in the umpires hands and they generaly try to complete a game if possible. I would much rather not start it and not burn up a pitcher due to delays and such and play tomorrow twice
