Today's Inigo Montoya Award goes to Mindy McCready's dad, for describing Roger Clemens thusly:
[McCready's father] told the Post he "feels really bad" for Clemens, whom he described as "a gentleman."Yeah, if some married dude were shtupping my daughter for a decade, I'm pretty sure "gentleman" wouldn't be in the top google phrases I'd use to describe him.

Canseco's got his back...kinda
Former slugger Jose Canseco said he was stunned to learn his former teammate had an affair with McCready.“I found out about it Tuesday and it took me completely by surprise,” said Canseco, who wrote in his first book, “Juiced,” that the legendary pitcher never strayed from his wife.
“I saw none of it. If it is true, he kept it secret.”
Canseco’s third book will have a detailed account of Clemens’s numerous affairs.
Everyone is lying but the Rocket, everyone always lies about the Rocket. He is the only honest man in baseball.
He may be trying to defuse this..
..to get everyone away from his daughter. If he says something controversial, it only brings on more questions and media hounding.
