Won't the Jay's just move Rios to CF for the time being?
And just playing Mench and Whiffy more on the corners? Rios has actually played 2 games in CF for them this year. I don’t think they’d be interested in Byrd.

I went and looked it up, and Rios also played 22 games in CF last year, too so I bet that’s what they’ll do, with Shrek/Whiffy in RF.
Slightly off-topic: I just remembered the Jays also have Matt Stairs – that gives them four members of the 2006 Texas Rangers (along with Mench, Wilkerson, and Barajas). They’re collecting.
