Byrd...

will be back soon. Good to see Murphy get a day off, he needed it.

I believe that should say Kinsler at 2B.

I really want another series victory. Come on Rangers.

Laird

Should not be in the lineup today.

He is 1-13 career against Bedard, and Salty showed some flashes of breaking out of his slump yesterday.

Oh, and WTF is up with German Duran in RF?

Does Brandon Boggs not have the arm to play there or something? I can see Duran in LF, but RF… maybe that’s a typo or something.

Boggs in LF

He’s got a lot more range, and generally, with the big left field out there, managers since TBIA opened have wanted the better defender to play left. The exception is when the guy with less range doesn’t have the arm to handle RF (see, i.e., the Cat).

he argues everytime… he’s already been ejected once and if he’s not careful he’s gonna get a reputation and not get tossed quicker and quicker each time…

I can hit a can 50 feet away

I’m impressed with nothing less than that

With your work pants still on, with a belt holding them closed?

Either you need to get a job with the fire department (and drinking on the job would be encouraged) or you need thicker pants.

Damn

I can’t even remember the last time I had pants on

Oh

You might appreciate this, then.

Shit

Now I need to borrow my fiancee’s iPod to listen to that song and get it out of my head.

Thank you

It was going to be Vedder or Hetfield.

cats are evil

if your cat is nice to you, it’s just because it hasn’t figured out a way to kill you yet…

If you were a hot chick wearing a white tshirt

that would make pissing on the shirt all that more impressive

Don't know

if “Impressive” is the word I would choose. Strange, disturbing, awkward are words I’d use to describe that.

Just make sure it gets to Dallas. Once it’s there, Gerry will find it. I garuntee it.

What is the Mariners bullpen situation like?

Baek is having to pitch a lot and its just now the 5th inning. I can’t imagine that they leave him in for too much longer unless he starts doing a lot better than that.

by Gdawg on May 12, 2008 8:54 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

I see only 2ER for padilla

Defensive meltdown, or was he struggling in the first regardless?

Either way, nice to see him bounce back with 4 scoreless.

by MeanMr.Mustard on May 12, 2008 8:59 PM CDT reply actions   0 recs

Wasn't great in the first...

The Vazquez error was a tough call, could have been a hit, and Hamilton booted the ball in CF that allowed runners to advance.

by Adam J. Morris on May 12, 2008 9:00 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

The 2 errors hurt

Does a run balked home count as an ER? Of course, that might be moot if he’d have been an unearned run if scored via hit.

by Inkara1 on May 12, 2008 9:00 PM CDT up reply actions   0 recs

Ouch

balks are embarrassing.

Thanks for the updates. As soon as finals are over I’m getting the MLB radio package… the lack of rangers is killing me, but my computer has issues with streaming video, so I don’t think it would take too kindly to MLB.tv.

how tall is Randy Johnson?

he actually got a walk the other day… probably the largest strike zone in MLB and he walks…
