Byrd...
will be back soon. Good to see Murphy get a day off, he needed it.
I believe that should say Kinsler at 2B.
I really want another series victory. Come on Rangers.

Laird
Should not be in the lineup today.
He is 1-13 career against Bedard, and Salty showed some flashes of breaking out of his slump yesterday.

Oh, and WTF is up with German Duran in RF?
Does Brandon Boggs not have the arm to play there or something? I can see Duran in LF, but RF… maybe that’s a typo or something.

Boggs in LF
He’s got a lot more range, and generally, with the big left field out there, managers since TBIA opened have wanted the better defender to play left. The exception is when the guy with less range doesn’t have the arm to handle RF (see, i.e., the Cat).
