Duran in RF? This team really needs another RHB OFer.

Byrd...

will be back soon. Good to see Murphy get a day off, he needed it.

I believe that should say Kinsler at 2B.

I really want another series victory. Come on Rangers.

Oh. Cruz. Nelson Cruz, I believe.

I don't disagree

but what do you do with Byrd

Laird

Should not be in the lineup today.

He is 1-13 career against Bedard, and Salty showed some flashes of breaking out of his slump yesterday.

Oh, and WTF is up with German Duran in RF?

Does Brandon Boggs not have the arm to play there or something? I can see Duran in LF, but RF… maybe that’s a typo or something.

don't hate 'cause Wash

is making you look bad right now.

Wash is in no way making me look bad

He’s a shitty manager, whether we win or lose. I’ve always maintained that.

Boggs in LF

He’s got a lot more range, and generally, with the big left field out there, managers since TBIA opened have wanted the better defender to play left. The exception is when the guy with less range doesn’t have the arm to handle RF (see, i.e., the Cat).

Interesting. Usually the perception is the other way around. Thanks AJM.

Let's hope today goes better than yesterday....

I’m sunburned from taking my mom to the game yesterday and stayed through most of it since they were putting up a fight. The ending sucked though!!!!!!

Get a good look tonight...

We might not see the Rangers until Friday, according to the weather reports.

Wednesday looks somewhat promising...

probably a delayed start though.

back to you Dick. :P

Red Sox DFA’s Julian Tavarez. I wonder what will happen to old Hatchet Face? I’d be suprised if he cleared. His 2008 option is only $3.85 MM.

What happened to my old signature?

VP will have 2 HBPs.

by Longhorn on May 12, 2008 6:51 PM CDT   0 recs

My Guess

Is that he’d probably be tossed after the first HBP considering what happened the last time these two played.

by rcreative on May 12, 2008 6:56 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Depends on

how blatant it looks.

VP's reputation

I think VP’s rep gets him tossed no matter how blatant it looks

by OKC Ranger Fan on May 12, 2008 6:57 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

True.

I just hope they give him the benefit of the doubt. But the chances of that? 0.

Padzilla better not hit anyone. Our middlie relief corps is pretty shot right now.

by utlonghorn24 on May 12, 2008 7:01 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Really?

I think VP has a reputation for beaning some folks but also a reputation for simply pitching inside. I hope he doesn’t shy away from the inside just because he might be tossed.

What happened to my old signature?

by WyoRanger on May 12, 2008 7:00 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Great point.

Hope he doesn’t have his performance affected as a result.

I think he would get

the gate after the first one. I assume both teams will receive pre-game warnings.

against everything they’ve said up until now.

and we'll have to wait 9 batters for the first one

i just wish we could get Felix back somehow…

DH

about the only problem with having a DH in the AL. No retaliation against the pitcher. BTW, I heart the DH

by OKC Ranger Fan on May 12, 2008 7:01 PM CDT to parent up   0 recs

Duran RF

I’m not all that pleased with Duran in RF, but what does this say about Bradley’s health? He played 5 of his first 18 games in the field, but only 2 of the last 16. Did he go back into the field to early?

by Randy Richardson on May 12, 2008 7:05 PM CDT   0 recs

Amazed

I’m just amazed he can come back this quick from blowing out his knee
