The Zen of Bobby V.
ESPN is airing a documentary called The Zen of Bobby V tonight (either 9:00 or 9:30 ET) on ESPN 2. If you can't record it tonight (because you wife is recording Law & Order SVU and Women's Murder Club), it will be rebroadcast next Monday at 3:00 ET on ESPN 2. There were some clips of this documentary on Outside the Lines this afternoon. It looks to be a really good film. It is about Bobby Valentine's rise to the status of cultural icon (there was a national poll asking which person would like to have as your boss, and Bobby won). They also showed Bobby's return to Japan in 2004, and there was a massive crowd chanting his name. I had no idea that he would be so popular.

I can't help but wonder
that if Washington is fired at some point during the season or after the season if Bobby V won’t be a candidate for the job. He managed Nolan and by all accounts the two are friends. I wonder if Nolan might not be able to sway Bobby V back here for one more shot. I think that would be a popular move, too.

Lame chick show, but… Angie Harmon. That’s all you really need to know.

David Murphy rocks, so Ellsbury can just go get himself a taco or something.
