One of the pre-eminent Rangers experts on the web didn’t know that a former #1 draft pick was white? Not to pick on Adam but this is one of the reasons I usually get a good chuckle when I read posts on here about prospects that I KNOW the poster has never seen play….and apparently never even seen a picture of in some cases.

I often get a chuckle out of people repeating “scout-memes” that they read somewhere and poo-pooing people who have never seen a player play.

Random observation
For a team called the “Blaze” those hat logos and the back jerseys they’ve got are pretty damn cool. The way the lonestar flag on the sleeve stands out is particularly sweet. I’d say the Blaze have actually got pretty nice uni’s, as far as minor league teams go. They’re not overdone or cheesy.
Oh, and I think we need to call up Tommy Hunter the next time we play the Mariners. Just so we can sic him on Richie Sexson.
