Junior Mayberry
is 4/4 today….look out AL west! Those young Texas Rangers are coming faster than you thought
yeah this seems like the
perfect place for his services
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
Because he went 3 stright days at one point, and threw 80 pitches
That was after the Detroit series, when the bullpen got roughed up. We needed a fresh arm, and Littleton had not pitched well in Detroit.
Idle Thoughts Reiterated from Old Thread
I kind’ve imagine Ron Washington auditioning for a promotion back when he was in Oakland by talking to Beane about how the team should bunt more and start players who show more scrapiness, and by showing off his crazy lineup strategies.
And I picture Beane laughing him out of the office and then calling a divisional rival to give him a recommendation.
Keen observation
and probably spot on.
re: Ann Coulter - "She doesn't get raped nearly enough." - DJ Cahill
Why demote Boggs?
I think he’s more deserving than Byrd. Even if he’s not, I say keep him.
by brettgardner on May 2, 2008 10:57 PM CDT up reply actions
Let's assume Boggs...
...goes 0 for his next 10…
Should he still be up instead of Byrd?
by Adam J. Morris on May 2, 2008 10:59 PM CDT up reply actions
Byrd
He’s a 4th outfielder.
Would you rather have Byrd up here playing 2-3 days a week, and Boggs playing every day in Oklahoma, or Boggs up here playing 2-3 days a week?
by Adam J. Morris on May 2, 2008 11:02 PM CDT up reply actions
Boggs has...
...all of about 300 PAs above A ball.
Now, he might be major league ready right now.
But I’m not ready to proclaim him, based on 6 or 7 major league ABs, deserving of a permanent roster spot.
by Adam J. Morris on May 2, 2008 11:08 PM CDT up reply actions
Well, with Milton Bradley unable to play the OF very much
I think Boggs might get a little more than that.
And… yes, that seems to be Bogg’s future roll in the majors… why not?
i am not a surfer or a skater.
but its a fun word to say. i throws people off
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
does anybody know
when the game is schededuled for tomorrow?
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
thanks
grounded for a party last weekend so ill need something to do on friday and saturday nighs
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
we'll, next time you'll know
if you’re gonna get busted, make sure it’s a killer party.
oh, to be young and foolish again…
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
yeah
so far the only time ive gotten caught it was by far the least worth it event.
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.

Central time. Weird start time i know
Emil
couldn’t catch a cold if he sat in the snow bare ass naked
What's going to happen if
Southlakes Chase Daniel goes before Stafford in the Draft? Will you kill someone?
What are you
talking about? Everyone including Mel Kiper says Stafford is a sure number 1 pick…
I love Miley Cyrus.
Mel Kiper is a douche
first off. Brohm was supposed to be #1 this year. A lot of things can happen in a year…
Brohm
was the best QB I think, time will tell…
Stafford > Tebow…
What other QB’s are good that can come out next year?
I love Miley Cyrus.
system QB,
Matt Stafford was way better than him even in high school….
Can Harrell throw a ball 80 yards?
I love Miley Cyrus.
Well
For one, of course I was joking.
Stafford was the best QB in the nation in high school, so I’m not sure that’s a fair point.
But most grades I’ve seen of Harrell have him as a 3rd rounder, which is fair. Maybe a little generous, but I wouldn’t call Harrell a system QB. He’s immensely better than anyone here since Kingsbury.

Stars up 2-0
at the start of the 3rd. Morrow has had 2 goals waved off, too.
re: Ann Coulter - "She doesn't get raped nearly enough." - DJ Cahill
mark ellis
is a chump.. no match for everday eddie
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
Josh
“and he likes to pop up 1-1 pitches”
haha he is so retarted, yet hilarious
yeah Lewin is awesome
just don’t make eye contact…
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
josh lewing is pretty sweet actually
but tom grieve my be the most boring man in sports
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
List of things miles doesn't need to say any more

JOSH HAMILTON!!!
AWESOME!!!
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
Really?
He ran several dozen yards at least to get that.
by brettgardner on May 2, 2008 11:12 PM CDT up reply actions
was that as great a play
as Rojas made it sound?
maybe i need to see the entire play
because i just turned my head as he was close to the wall and lunged for it
made a nice play by being against the wall, but it didnt seem that impressive.
hopefully they will show a good look after the break.
Gerald Laird is my hero.
Sorry Shep,
But it was that impressive. He didn’t flinch at the wall. He kicked its ass.
re: Ann Coulter - "She doesn't get raped nearly enough." - DJ Cahill
He covered a lot of ground...
to get to that ball. It was a very good catch.
"The only good is knowledge and the only evil is ignorance."-Socrates
Hamilton just bolted across CF
all the way to the warning track to make a spectacular catch. My guess is that Rojas didn’t make it sound great enough
the greatest center fielder
of all time… forget willie mays
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
I went for a beer
Thank the sweet, clean Lord for a DVR.
re: Ann Coulter - "She doesn't get raped nearly enough." - DJ Cahill
Josh asks, how often does that happen
I’d guess, about 11.1% of the time.
by Adam J. Morris on May 2, 2008 11:14 PM CDT up reply actions
That's the first time I've heard emotion from the As announcers all night.
They sounded like their families had just been slaughtered.
That was awesome.
I wonder how good he would have been had
he never gotten into what he got into
yeah that sounds good.. maybe
a little better
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
That being said,
Thank God he’s clean. Not from a baseball standpoint, but from a human standpoint. I’ve seen friends and relatives kill themselves with drugs and it ain’t pretty.
re: Ann Coulter - "She doesn't get raped nearly enough." - DJ Cahill
and shotguns
don’t forget the shotguns
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
Whip
Where the hell do you live? No, it’s not a rape trap.
re: Ann Coulter - "She doesn't get raped nearly enough." - DJ Cahill
Let me know when you go to a game
I’ll rape you, um…buy you a beer.
re: Ann Coulter - "She doesn't get raped nearly enough." - DJ Cahill
I think Griffey-level is a bit of a stretch.
He’s good, but I can’t see him being that good.
Particularly when even though he puts up highlights like that sometimes, his defense thus far hasn’t been exactly spectacular.
I would tend disagree
on the level of his defense so far. I think he has been an exceptional outfielder so far. So he has made a few mistakes but remember we are a 2nd yr player here. We will have to deal with some aggressive errors on his part

Gameday replay titled

dudes

touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
he does
if juaq doesn’t throw anything over the plate
Nelson Cruz
hits his second homerun of the night. That’s 11 now
Well
Unlike Botts, Cruz has had plenty of chances.
He always kills at AAA.
by brettgardner on May 2, 2008 11:25 PM CDT up reply actions
is there
a point in time when he becomes a valuable comodity again on the market?
No use up here
Doubt it
He looks like an older version of Victor Diaz.
by brettgardner on May 2, 2008 11:32 PM CDT up reply actions
When he does it
at the ML level, I’ll be impressed. Until then….
re: Ann Coulter - "She doesn't get raped nearly enough." - DJ Cahill
no way
mike sweeny and those 64 year old legs are way too fast
i think frank thomas
should be the Al gold glove at DH
thats the point
Milton looked like he was about to snap on the whistle guy

do they really need that long

You know
I think I was one of the few here willing to give BB a chance, but my God—he really really blows.
he lead the AL in bunt singles last year
and the infield was playing back…
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
even so
hes not super fast and theres two outs in the top of the ninth
touchdown... touchdown... and st.micheals takes the lead.
well, you saw how successful he was swinging away...
Grieve: The Yanks have struggled so far. - Lewin: Yeah, cry me a bag of money.
Do you really think...
...Washington called for him to bunt there?
by Adam J. Morris on May 2, 2008 11:40 PM CDT up reply actions
Why?
And I’m relatively certain Laird was bunting for a hit, just trying to get on to get a rally started. Which is something he’s doing on his own, not because of Washington.

he wanted to be traded to the Bengals
but needed to prove himself first

That would be
to the Cowboys. Plus, Tank Johnson has better guns.
re: Ann Coulter - "She doesn't get raped nearly enough." - DJ Cahill
no, see
guys get in trouble and then come to the Cowboys (much to the chagrin of Dale Hansen)
guys get in Cincinnatti and then get in trouble

Every one
cruise over to the DMN website and load up on firing Washington now
Good job, Rangers.
Maybe things are getting worked out. I don’t think we’re going to contend, and I think Kevin Goldstein was too half-full in his projection, but I do think we should be better than we have been.
Fuck
Stars had 2 goals waved off. The second one I could see, but the first one looked cleaner.
re: Ann Coulter - "She doesn't get raped nearly enough." - DJ Cahill
3 in a row...
a game back of 3rd and we get them next.
Padilla looked pretty good again. The pen did it’s job, but made me very nervous. Hamilton saved this game with that catch. I’m certain the Rangers lose this game without that play.
