Actually V. Martinez has greatly improved defensively
(which, on a side note, is why I am optimistic that someday Salty will improve too, but that’s another story).
But Shoppach sucks offensively, and Martinez has zero HR’s this year.

Probably not
Martinez > Salty right now, but Salt’s got the potential to be a similar player eventually…
As for Laird vs. Shoppach, it’s pretty clear who’s the superior player there.
Bottom line, yes, I’d rather have Salty/Laird over V. Mart/Shoppach.

I remember Kam Loe not being too shabby last year, and I was at the game where he dominated the Bo Sox at Fenway.
What happened late last year/the spring that he went down to the minors and is now a reliever?

I've always been a huge fan of his
But you have to come to your senses at some point. His entire attitude has changed the past few years, whether it is because of his failed relationship with Kelly Rowland, his newfound faith or the fact that the NFL has started cracking down on his type of play.
This is his last year to really prove himself. The good news is that we have a few good safeties that might be able to come in and do a good job if he starts to tank again.

I think it's unfortunate.
The fact that the debt is from September, after he had been suspended will work against him.
As someone said elsewhere, no news about Pacman is great news. This was definitely not a good day for Pacman.

He seems to rely
on his sinker too much and he does not have much room for error. If hitters lay off the low ones, he has problems with walks or he gets the sinker too high and it goes about 400 feet.
I'm too lazy to look up the stats
But he was really bad in spring training. And while he had his good outings last year, he also had some really bad ones, too.
Also, the rise of Luis Mendoza and Scott Feldman have pretty much squeezed Kam out of consideration for the rotation.

a very petty/stupid complaint about sbn downtime
in the first month of the season when it would go down for 12 hours at a time in the middle of the day without warning… and still have a “planned downtime” graphic. i dont know why, but I resented the “planned” message =p

They had some problems with the addition of the rest of the sites
Some unforeseeable issues and were fighting to get the sites back up and running.
