OT:Weird Trades
The Laredo Broncos of the United League traded for John Odom from the Calgary Vipers last week.
In exchange for Odom's services they gave the Calgary Vipers 10 bats .
This got me thinking, I know there are other weird trades out there where one player was traded for something out of the ordinary. Especially back in the early early days of baseball. I'm creating this fanpost for anyone that knows of or has heard of any other weird trades to post the story here.

The winners in the John Odom trade
Were Conoco, Phillips, Shell, BP, and Valero – He drove all the way to the Canadian Border, in Montana, could not be admitted to Canada due to records check, then drove all the way to Laredo to report. 10 bats doesn’t come close to that $$$ jackpot!

Catfish
A few years ago some owner traded a playeer for catfish:
“I still can’t believe they traded me for some catfish,” Krahenbuhl said. “It’s totally ridiculous.”
