Tragic he died when he did.

Obviously with drugs its hard to feel too bad but this guy was great. I’ve played his comedy for people of all ages, and he never disappoints. His deadpan delivery and random subjects were priceless.

yeah

they both do one liners. but, beyond that, they aren’t really the same at all. like saying all “what’s the deal” comics are the same. or all comics who tell stories. or all comics who rail against the man. well, dennis leary is actually different than lenny bruce or skip hicks.

Mitch...

did a lot of drugs and was never really comfortable on stage in front of people. He would get really nervous at times.

Unfortunately I never got to see him live. I have seen his good friend Dave Attell numerous times and he would always say Mitch was one of the comedians he loved to tour with. But I digress, sorry, I could talk about stand-up for hours.

Him, Dave Attell, and Lewis Black, several years ago on one of those Comedy Central tours.

Dave Attell is great. Now that Carlin isn’t at the top of his game,Attell is easily my favorite stand-up.

He’she comedians comedian too. When you ask many stand-up comedians who they want to see live they will say Dave. I used to see him all the time in the Bay or in Sacramento and there was always a lot of other comedians there to watch the guy. Go see him live. I will promise you that you won’t be able to stop laughing.

I’m not trying to make you feel stupid.

All I meant is that when comedians think you’re funny then chances are many other people will feel the same way. If you think he’s overrated that’s fine, no big deal. We have a disagreement in comedic taste my friend, that’s all.
