And I hate people who say Missoura. It bothers the hell out of me. In fact, at my graduation last week, the dean conferred the degrees by saying, “By the power vested in me by the University of Mih-ZURH-uh…”, and everyone groaned.
Only politicians say Missoura, because it appeals to the traditionalist, rural voters (read: rednecks/hoosiers).

I wish we had a better 1B and Blalock was playing but Vasquez has been amazing of late.
I know Teixeira is having a down year but can you imagine how much better we’d be with him in the lineup?

he was pretty quick to get rid of it. not that accurate though.
i dont think hes going to ever be laird quality throwing, but as long as you are a threat back there so they cant just run wild you can work with it.

he earned himself a few more starts before any real concern needs to be shown. I would have loved to see him shut this team down, but Padilla gave up a ton of walks to this team yesterday and Ponson didn’t fare to well the other day. This is just a very good team.
