Just another reason Josh Hamilton is a beasticon

I might get slammed some for this not being fanpost worthy, but I think this deserves to be at the top of the page: check out this quote from Josh Hamilton on his grand slam last night.

"That's the most frustrated I've ever been hitting a grand slam in my life," he said. "I was having trouble picking up the ball ... I actually closed my eyes for a split-second because I thought it was going to [curve] in and maybe hit me. I heard it hit [the bat] and opened my eyes back up, and there it went."

they guy is incredible. I just spoke face to face with a Reds fan who is still real bitter about the reds giving up Hammy. He thought at the time, “How could we trade a premium superstar centerfielder for a number five rotation type pitcher?” He likes Volquez, but is still insisting that he would rather have the production from Hammy.
