Regarding Rangers Tickets
I'm thinking about taking my mom to the Rangers game on Sunday for Mother's Day. I'm a college student and am on a strict budget so I'm looking for a good deal. On the Rangers website, there is a text box where you can input a 'coupon code'. Does anyone happen to have one of these? I already know of one but I can't get a discount on the tickets in the Lower Box or the Lower Infield. Are the Corner Box seats any good? Any help would be appreciated.

$6 GrandStand Reserved
Then sit wherever you want. Have you seen how empty the park is?

Do they check
your tickets if you try to go to like the first row?

Ticket checking
They check tickets in the rich people seats (mostly season tickets holder areas) but do not check in most areas. Home run porch is always available with a $6 ticket. Keep your ticket in your pocket do not offer to show.
That is not me in the photo, so relax.

Depends
I usually sit in Left Field for a couple of innings until I make my way to third base. The ushers usually don’t care if the stadium is empty. If they ask for your ticket either keep on walking or say you threw it away.

Try Express
I think I heard that they were offering 1/2 price tickets up to $45 using that code in honor of Nolan.
The Big XII is in OKC (screwing up our schedule as usual. :-(
Whether they check your tickets depends on which section you go to. In recent years they had the seat nazi in the sections behind the Rangers dugout near the batting circle.

Elaborating
Wait a few innings and you’ll have a much better chance at sneaking down. I know on Opening Day they were staggering employees every other entrance, so I went in between two and sat a lot closer for the last two innings to get some better pictures.

No problem...
You can have it back! Aluminum bats scare me (the ball comes off too fast) so I don’t like going to college games. Plus it always causes them to do weird things to our schedule which is never good. And probably my biggest gripe, I can’t get my seats because they reserve them for the mega “donors”. Sorry, but my park, I should get priority!!

Sunday day games
Do not bring large crowds. You’ll be able to sit pretty much anywhere except maybe the infield.
