Clinton has all ready won, 11-6. A number of nice hitting performances. Notables:
Gac, 2-3, HR, 2 BB
Smith, 2-4
Lawson is heating up. .313 in the last ten games and 2-4 today

Gomez was roughed up a bit. 5IP, 4R, 8H, 2HR, 3K, 1BB but with 9 GB outs to 3 FB outs, suggesting the homers were off mistake pitches and that it wasn't an entirely bad day for him.

Frisco has all ready started. They trail 5-2 in the 4th. Davis has a walk.

Later, Phillips goes for Bakersfield and Mathis takes the hill for the Redhawks.

ppl were posting long ago about them in threads exactly like this without rooster or any1 else setting up a diary

and their information was a ton more thorough. as sum1 who comes in and fills in the details of the daily minor league reports later to fill in the gaps, i simply think that maybe continuing to update the diary at the top and showing more info is not a ton to expect.

seems that the daily minor league diary is like a contest to see who gets to post it 1st and the actual detail and context of the diary always is way way incomplete and could always use more information. yes i can go to another site to get the info, but dont ppl want this to be the best rangers source possible?

im the guy that updates the minor league days stats at post 25 b/c the guy who starts the thread doesnt do a full update through editing the diary or any kind of follow up edits when no others can.

you guys are the only people on earth who could turn a question about having box scores of minor league games put into these minor league diaries into a cat fight about this stupid crap. it can be done better, it can be done more thoroughly, i know how to check box scores outside of this site, but this site is about discussing rangers and rangers minor league numbers and the source to those numbers and stats is open source, and its necesary to goto another site to get the info?

Some of us work or give babies baths or eat dinner or go out to a concert or any of the other things in life that sometimes interfere with posting. And we don’t all work 9 to 5 if we’re not still in school. This is a place for people to comment on and discuss things, not a news feed.

There is no reason for the original poster to feel a responsibility to constantly update it.

I posted what I thought was important at the time. I had a lot of meetings this afternoon, soccer this evening, and I’ve finally gotten the kids to bed. So, now I can do an update, but I just don’t really feel like doing an update.
