Especially trying to read the LL at the same time.
Bad idea going over there at LL.

You know what offends my sensibilities
more than someone posting a picture of balls and Richie Sexson acting like an ass? The fact that a major league team would actually DH Jose Lopez…and bat him second.

the balls thing
i’m glad that guy is going to get banned and everything but that was kind of funny when it happened. kind of unexpected. still, he should be banned. I don’t want to have to deal with that again.

continuing a discussion back in the last thread
We also have Murray in the bullpen ready to go as a long-man if needed and he can be optioned back down to Oklahoma if we need a spare pitcher for a day.

I love that picture
First off it looks like Franky is badly photoshopped in
Second, there’s a chick in the top right hand corner that’s really amused by all of it.
Third, the leg of the chair makes the portly guy in the blue cap look like he’s Colonel Sanders after he decided the Beard was too much.

TAG is my new broadcasting hero.
Thanks again to bigsteve for posting that.
Hahaha… hey, Eric Nadel’s ripping Sexson now… talking about how things have calmed down after Sexson’s “temporary insanity”.

I probably won’t be around much this weekend so I hope yall enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed rewatching and typing it. TAG really was pissed it sounded like. A couple of those comments were pure greatness. If anyone wants to post that transcript elsewhere feel free, not that it would matter anyway.

You know
I go back and forth on him. Sure, he’s a smarmy, overly made-up douchy liberal, but that doesn’t mean he’s not charmingly cynical from time to time.

Berman...
you at least knew he was senile or something. Stuart Scott there was just no excuse for. He single handedly turned Sportscenter from a sports reporting show to a “Let’s see who can shout the loudest to a home run call” contest.

I grew up reading comics
as a kid and watched crap like Batman Forever and Batman and Robin, so for me that one was pure greatness. They didn’t really try selling the movie to any demographic and just stayed true to the character and the original concept.

My top 5
Batman Begins
Batman
Batman Returns
Iron Man
Superman (the original)
I can’t pick a best out of those, but those are 5 great super-hero movies.

the reason it was so good
was because it wasn’t like a true comic movie remake. It was very dark.

that's because its batman
that’s what its supposed to be. Katie Holmes brought it down a bit. Still, Tim Burton did great with the first 2 Batman movies. Just a different type of dark style as well as not having as much to work with special effects wise

was enough of a pain they decided to recast her character in the middle of a series. That says something doesn’t it?
