Video of Brawl, Sexson a girl, Rangers win 4th series in a row!!!

Who throws the batting helmet?  And Gabbard didn't even throw at Sexson.  What a p*ssy.  BTW the Rangers have won 4 series in a row...who else is pumped????  If you are, give me a hell yeah!

Video of Sexson being a girl.  I hope we throw at him next time we play Seattle.

I never liked him, not since he came up. Never was really sure why… until tonight, that is.

Concur...

and it’s not A-Rod who’s the pussy. It’s Suxson.

I was angrier at Hernandez than at Sexson

I think Sexson, who’s had a pretty crappy last 48 hours and a pretty crappy season at the plate, just snapped. I can forgive him everything except jumping on Gabbard, which is clearly what injured Kason. In the replay you can see his left leg kind of buckle under as Sexson drags him down.

Hernandez really showed his panties last night, though. What a sissy, jumping around all puffed up like Robbie Alomar about to spit on an umpire. He was the jackass who hit two Rangers batters in the game.

As to the Mariners fans booing a limping Kason Gabbard as he left the field: You stay classy, Seattle. That almost makes me wish that the dude who is taking your Sonics away wins a crushing legal victory against you.

Can’t wait for the next Mariners vs. Padilla matchup.

by Mister Naxal on May 9, 2008 3:39 PM CDT to parent up reply reply   0 recs

no no no

There is absolutely no reason to be forgiving to Sexson in any manner. First of all he got mad at a pitch that was nowhere near him. As the announcers said, if it was 2 feet lower it was a strike. Then Sexson, a 6’7 guy, goes charging Kason Gabbard, what is he 6’0 barely, and you throw your helmet at the guy. Pure fucking chickenshit move. If he was so distraught over his kid he shouldn’t have been playing in the first place.

Gabbard

is listed as 6’3” 200—not exactly a little guy.

Good shot of Bradley

picking up Laird. Too bad it is from the Mariners broadcast.

You know...

I gained some respect for Laird today. I’ve never been a huge believer in his talent on the field, but he really went at it with Sexon and the M’s to protect his pitcher. I really liked seeing that.

Watching Board game push him all the way back to the Ranger dugout was just funny.

Laird

I said the thought the same thing when I watched the video. I was watching it with my brother and I told him that I just grew a little bit of respect for him, laird that is. Still we should trade him.

Bradley

Was anyone else worried that Bradley was going to injure himself when he was carrying Laird off the field? If he can tear his ACL arguing w/ an umpire, surely he could do it carrying a 225 pound catcher.

by cgolden on May 9, 2008 1:44 PM CDT to parent up reply reply   0 recs

he didn't tear it arguing

his manager tried to stop the argument by throwing Connect Four to the ground.

Sexson whopped his ass

Too be honest.

Lame “brawl” though. Why make such a big deal out of it. It bugs me when baseball does that.

by Sharky on May 9, 2008 2:14 AM CDT reply reply   0 recs

True

but i mean sexson is 6’7 and threw his helmet at gabbard to get position. Not really fair.

by Agreen07 on May 9, 2008 8:22 AM CDT to parent up reply reply   0 recs

really?

I don’t think anyone kicked anyones ass. Gabbard went at Sexsons midsection and Sexson basically just fell on top of him. If thats what you call kicking his ass you must not have seen many fights in your life

by bigsteve on May 9, 2008 10:07 AM CDT to parent up reply reply   0 recs

I actually agree with Sharky.

I think Sexson got the best of Gabbard pretty well.

As he should. You know, he can’t hit a baseball, but he could probably kill Gabbard if he wanted to.

He didn’t count on Laird trying to eat him, though. Should have thought things through.

Laird got there

so fast sexson never really got any licks in except for his coward helmet throw

Dangit!

I feel asleep in the middle of the fourth after they failed to score from second/third and I miss this!

At least the video was cool.

What a fairy

I turned on the TV and saw Milton and Laird and wondered wtf just happened.

What a gigantic tool. That pitch was nowhere near hitting him. I bet Gabbard goes back to the DL over this bullshit, which is the case I hope Padilla aim’s right for his forehead next series.

Atleast Sexon manned up

and called the helment throw a chickenshit move himself

by SaltyGoesYard on May 9, 2008 8:37 AM CDT reply reply   0 recs

sexson

he did get a small bit of credit for that, he didn’t try to defend it. just said it was chickenshit and he regrets doing it.

he’s still a giant douche for the whole thing though

Ventura Syndrome

...not that this is up there with the Ryan / Ventura bashing… but, Sexson joins Ventura in my mind from here on out…

For some reason....

Dish Network had put the game on an alternative channel and I didn’t figure out how to watch it until like the 6th inning. I missed how mad Grieve was and everything. Would really like to see the Rangers broadcast if anyone has a link.

"I hope we throw at him next time we play Seattle"

...no you don’t.

Millwood is on the DL.
Ponson came back down to earth today.
Feldman?... still an unproven commodity.

the last thing we need right now is a starter suspended.
