You know...

It's because he has a good metabolism.

And I’m not starting until this game is over.

Better go quick. Test is due at midnight and I have other stuff going on.

or do you just let them keep playing since the catcher situation is going so well

A new futility record?

Hmmm…

Michael Young grounded out to end the seventh, extending his hitless streak to 17 at-bats. Another hitless at-bat will tie the second longest drought of his career. He went 18 at-bats last April without a hit. Another hitless at-bat after that would tie the longest of his career, which happened in 2002.

Does anyone know if Frankie has any options?

I was just wondering why we dfa’d Tejada after he pitches 2 shutout innings on Friday, granted it was mop up duty. I just figured the way he pitched at AAA as a starter good enough to get another call up that he would get a longer chance. Frankie is coming in and walking people in a game that all you need to do is throw strikes. This after he blows the game the other night.

I guess I could go with not a closer, I personally believe he has too many pitches to be a closer and not necasarilly one or two extraordinary pitches like a closer usually does, I would like to see him as a starter again but as a closer in save situation’s he’s been pretty good this year!

The starters have done a good job all season for the most part. Outside of Jennings, everyone has given the team a good chance to win almost each time they have been out there. The bullpen on the other hand has been so up and down this year and hasn’t had more than a couple of guys not blow at any given time.

When Wash pulled out Hurley at 92 pitches know that Eddie was not available

I might could understand not putting Hurley back out there, but when Wright who was a long reliever this year gets pulled out after a 1,2,3 inning and then lets Frankie blow it. Wash must of been going with his gut again.
