Second time in about a week...

...Kinsler has barely been safe at home on a wild pitch…

You don’t see that happen twice in a season, it seems…

by Adam J. Morris on Jun 17, 2008 8:25 PM CDT reply actions

Hmm...

But I bet we see it a few more times from him this season.

by The Best Micah on Jun 17, 2008 8:25 PM CDT up reply actions

Yay wild pitch

In other news, Nadel said Bradley has a mildly strained quad right before that.

by LSJ on Jun 17, 2008 8:26 PM CDT reply actions

Boo.

I hope mild means the same thing in this case as it does on salsa labels.

by The Best Micah on Jun 17, 2008 8:27 PM CDT up reply actions

That oughta count as an RBI for Josh...

because Hudson was afraid of throwing him anything good.

I love that

We traded away Teix, and some people complained. But then we picked up David Murphy who is producing the exact same numbers.

Its like we never traded him!

by boomer1 on Jun 17, 2008 9:01 PM CDT up reply actions

To describe it better

Hammy steps to the plate. McCann looks up at him, looks at his feet seeing how close he is to the plate. Looks back up at him almost taunting him and sets up inside almost saying to Hammy “I bet you can’t hit this inside pitch”. First pitch and it was gone. Upper deck. Needless to say hamy hasn’t seen an inside pitch again tonight
