Make Your own Farm assignments 2.0 Frisco
Here are my assignments for frisco, hope JD sees it my way.
pitchers- schlact, diamond, hunter, ballard, kiker.
I know the argument could be made that reed belongs here instead of kiker, however he is the cream of the top and some times you have to let the crop rise. Hopefully ballard starts stringing together better series of starts and moves up taking lizard/rowe out of a starting spot, then reed could join the rest up here as well and bump hodges out of a starting spot.
hitters-
c- emerson frostad, lets see if he can do it, if not call on manny later on
1b-majewski (sp?) / restko
2b-vallejo
ss- elvis andrus – the king of errors… for now we hope
3b- whittleman
of- harrison, murphy, borbon
dh- tracy
this is where a lot of the young guys make the big jump, and some of the ones here could make another move up (i.e.) harrison, murphy, if we become sellers at the deadline. Not sure how the organization still views frostad as a catcher so you could see pina up here and frostad playing a little first and C as our unconventional utility man.

2009 Frisco
C- Pina
1B- Frostad
2B- Vallejo
SS- Andrus
3B- Whittleman
OF- Harrison, Borbon, Gentry, Majewski
SP- Ballard, Hunter, Schlact, Kiker, Phillips
Frostad should be moving up whenever Smoak gets promoted to Frisco most likely around June. elvis should be moving on to OKC around June-July timeframe which will allow Lemon to move up to take his spot. hunter should be moving up to OKC around then as well if not sooner if they decide to switch him to a bullpen role. Possibly opening the door for feliz to make the jump?
Bryan Smith (12:17:17 PM PT): Justin Smoak and Josh Hamilton. The AL West might just have found their Bash Brothers, v. 2.0.

JB
Cmon…...why are they taking so long with the promotions of Max, Borbon, and Gac?

Patience
Borbon is doing well, but isn’t exactly dominating, he can wait until next month. I’d like to see a little more pop in the bat and a few more walks. Max needs to be catching 4-5 times per week, and he can’t do that if he moves up. He’ll get his shot soon, too. Gac is the one I think could move up immediately. There is certainly no one important in his way, and we need to see what he can do at higher levels as his 23rd birthday approaches.
...and curse Sir Sidney Ponson, he was such a stupid git.
