we’re in another situation where I feel like JD wants to make a trade rather than just DFA’ng Shelton. (Maybe with good reason since Shelton is one of few righty bats). You almost have to trade Cat before you can make any moves.
Of course, Hank moving to 1st means that you’re still back to DFA’ng Shelton and running with predominantly righty lineup. But maybe you can get some sort of righty bat in return for Cat. I dunno, Hank’s move sure did cause a clusterfuck.

Remember, when the move was announced to move hank he was supposed to be days away from coming back from his hamstring injury and CD was struggling in OKC. It looked at the time like it would take davis a few months to get things worked out and in the meantime Hank could play 1B and up his value. Of course since then hank has gotten reinjured and hasn’t played yet and Davis has been….....well….........hes been unbelievable.
